Our Winter rankings update pinpointed even more players from the 2026, 2027 and 2028 classes who have stood out in their respective positions. For a variety of reasons, our team decided that each of those new additions were worthy of a coveted spot in our rankings.

But we'd be naive to think we've evaluated everyone or didn't miss a few along the way.

The changing of the guard happens year after year, and, as such, PRZ South Carolina is constantly looking at as many of the 10,000-plus prep football players in the SCHSL and SCISA ranks as possible.

Now, the Community Film Room is back.

In each edition, we'll break down five unranked players from across the state to let you see what we're seeing. The series will lead right into the the start of the spring rankings cycle, the ever-growing importance of the summer program schedules and then the 2025 season.

In Episode 63, we're going all in on the Class of 2027.

With the right cuts made to his reel, it would be easy to assume that Wilson was a strong safety with some of the licks he put on opposing ball carriers and even a receiver or two. In reality, he was a corner who had no issue breaking away from blocks to patrol his side of the field.

He finished with 22 tackles, one tackle for loss, one pick and one forced fumble in nine games against Sumter's schedule. Clearly, there's a collection of talent capable of spreading the wealth, but we keep seeing many of Central's biggest offensive plays coming back to Streater. The tall left tackle not only had an impressive first year on the varsity, he proved he's already got some tools to keep doing this for years to come.

Streater is a master at leverage, using his wide frame to stop edge rushers in their tracks in the passing game and turning would be tacklers to what ends up being the wrong side on running plays. He's a minor weight increase from starting to look like a college lineman, something two years should more than handle.

At a solid 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Raniszewksi spent the 2024 season dispelling any myth that he was going to be a statue of a pocket passer. He can take off on designed runs - he averaged just shy of 10 yards per carry - and shows more than enough strength on his passes when he's on the move to the left or right.

The big righty's ability to shorten his throwing motion on mid-range and deep throws, though, is something that Hilton Head will be able to continue to build around. He's a lot more accurate than even his already respectable numbers might suggest, and when you consider that five of his seven picks came in one game, the Seahawks' offense is in very good hands.

After the acclimation period of the first month-plus of his sophomore season, Williams quickly started to look like he could be a true No. 1 receiver for the Patriots for his junior and senior campaigns. Honestly, we're not sure he shouldn't have already held that claim by the end of last fall.

Williams caught 25 passes for 504 yards and three touchdowns, all of which led Fort Dorchester. He did so but working every one of his skill sets: Sideline receptions, leaving corners behind, playing the ball in the air and bucking defenders for extra yards. He's a complete package in the making.

Ratliff is further proof of just how much South Pointe reloads in real time. Last year, he didn't need to be the guy on the outside. Yet, he did some damage in a variety of looks, including taking quick passes at the line and then doing the rest via broken tackles.

As we can see from some receptions and a couple of his punt returns, he's also good in space. Ratliff can line up in the slot or wide; those will also increase his receptions a season after [player_tooltip player_id='1249764' first='Jordan' last='Collins'] graduated and headed to the college level. Either way, Ratliff isn't going to do much but thrive as a full-time starter.
