2027 SPRING RANKINGS UPDATE: Defensive Line Breakdown

<p>We have officially released a new set of rankings for the class of 2027 in Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2027 defensive linemen with analysis. Over the next month, I will break down these rankings by position in each class, including other segments. For the defensive linemen, I will provide you with evaluations of some of the top prospects and the players flying under the radar:</p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1300201' first='Antwone' last='Miller'] maintains his top ranking as he continues to excel both on and off the field. Miller is versatile and capable of playing in the interior and on the edge. Miller displays good upfield burst off the LOS, consistently making plays in the backfield or at the line of scrimmage. His athletic ability and good UOH enable him to shed blocks effectively and disrupt plays consistently. Miller's good use of hands helps him control and quickly disengage from blockers, coupled with his ability to read and react when engaged with the OL. He is able to put pressure into the pocket and finish the rep. He's a stout defensive tackle who disrupts plays at the line of scrimmage. He possesses good full-body power and strength, combined with solid athletic ability. Franklin effectively uses his lower-body power, reach, and hand placement to drive back the OL and apply pressure in the pocket. His quick footwork, UOH, and ability to explode off the snap allow him to create leverage and shed blocks, enabling him to make plays at the LOS or in the backfield. He shows dominance against both base and combo blocks.
