Here we will continue to breakdown the Washington 28's, talking on some of the top athletes ranked #26-60.

[player_tooltip player_id='584953' first='Kanai' last='Kennedy'] went down with an injury for the season before the start of his freshman year. He has top 10 potential and will likely rank as one of Washington's top sophomores in 2025. Mount Tahoma teammate [player_tooltip player_id='985352' first='Briytan' last='Bailey'] will combo nicely with Kennedy, after a phenomenal 9th grade year on both sides of the ball at the Varsity level. He went for 850 all-purpose yards and 4 TDs with 57 tackles and an INT on D.

At the QB spot [player_tooltip player_id='1615861' first='Sawyer' last='Hayes'] of Gig Harbor and [player_tooltip player_id='1613160' first='Brady' last='Bonnell'] of Tahoma both look legit. Hayes started as a freshman and threw 15 TDs with Bonnell garnering significant praise from top trainer Tracy Ford and FSP.

Don't sleep on [player_tooltip player_id='984864' first='Jordan' last='Meas'] who will possibly lead one of the top teams on the West Coast in the years ahead in Eastside Catholic.

Defensively the 2028' class has some nice DB's coming up. Baseball standout [player_tooltip player_id='1339204' first='Brayden' last='Seiber'] of Kennedy Catholic will be one of WA's top dual threats, catching 11 passes with close to 200 total yards, while making 8 tackles with an INT.

Moses Lake Safety [player_tooltip player_id='1530880' first='John' last='Rainey'] put up some ridiculous numbers as a freshman, finishing with 100 tackles while racking up 1st team all-conference honors. North Kitsap's [player_tooltip player_id='1338121' first='Townsyn' last='Walsh'] was a 2nd team all Olympic League DB.

[player_tooltip player_id='984860' first='Colton' last='Terry'] of Tumwater has a big upside playing for a top program, and coming from a talented family with his brother Austin Terry playing TE at Boise St.

There are a handful of lineman who are also noteworthy and should be recognized among the best in the state for their class. [player_tooltip player_id='985356' first='Solova'a' last='Steffany'] will project as a multiyear 1st team all-state selection, while possessing elite strength.

[player_tooltip player_id='1616383' first='Taumaoe' last='Misikei Tusi'] and [player_tooltip player_id='987105' first='Zion' last='Ulugalu'] of Lincoln can play on either side of the ball, but size will likely have them on D at the next level. [player_tooltip player_id='1338208' first='Marley' last='Malotumau'] of Puyallup is the real deal with Rainier Beach featuring a pair of standouts in [player_tooltip player_id='1615683' first='Anthony' last='Dunston JR'] and Jonah Kopesi. Dunston JR was an all-conference selection as a freshman.

Other individuals who could fly up the charts include [player_tooltip player_id='1335521' first='RJ' last='Ward'], [player_tooltip player_id='1337973' first='Inoke' last='Crosby'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1012408' first='Kaden' last='Johnson'] of Bellevue. All three should excel as part of FSP.

[player_tooltip player_id='984904' first='EJ' last='Tonga'] of Union started at WR as a freshman and will be a big part of the schools future. [player_tooltip player_id='986441' first='Raziah' last='Patterson'] of Yelm is another wideout who could do well playing for a program who continues to reload. Watch what he does on the 7v7 circuit.

Additional RB's who got in the mix as freshman include [player_tooltip player_id='987104' first='Malcolm' last='Akuffo'] of Emerald Ridge, [player_tooltip player_id='1615868' first='Brady' last='Broders'] of Kamiakin, and [player_tooltip player_id='1615867' first='Kainoa' last='Brown'] of Mercer Island. Akuffo is a beast at 5-9 225, putting up some of the best numbers anywhere among 28's. On the season he carried 123 times for 714 yards and 8 TDs (5.8 ypc).

Broders averaged close to 100 yards per game with a handful of TDs for a traditional top 10 program in Kamiakin, with Brown leading his Mercer squad as a freshman averaging 8.7 yards per carry with 7 TDs on the year.
