Upcoming March Rankings Update: Prospects to Watch

<p>College coaches and personnel, we are less than two weeks away from our major spring update for the classes of 2025-2028. In this report, we will highlight new prospects that will be added, as well as some that are on the "rise watch." Here are five prospects to keep an eye on:</p>    <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1178735' first='Kelton' last='Wilson'] is a prospect to watch throughout 2025. He is a solid man coverage corner with good recovery speed, who plays through the whistle and can rip the ball out before completing their catch. Post-snap, he demonstrates solid footwork and transition ability to flip and stay with his man vertically.</p>   <p>Note - 3.6 GPA</p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/KeltonWilson29/status/1888634123134120200 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1627672' first='DJ' last='Wilson'] plays multiple positions, including wide receiver and defensive back. As a wide receiver, he is a solid route runner with no wasted motion. His body control allows him to make adjustments effectively. He excels as a linebacker, edge rusher, and running back. His high motor allows him to chase down ball carriers from sideline to sideline. Mead demonstrates strong recognition skills, allowing him to read and react quickly and efficiently. He pressures the quarterback, fills gaps, and locks down his zone. In the passing game, he can effectively cover his man in man-to-man coverage or transition smoothly against routes coming across his face in zone coverage. He displays good hand-eye coordination and body control to adjust mid-route and get upfield post-catch. Shields can win vs. contest and potentially become a red zone threat at the next level.
