Higgins is incredibly athletic and plays with a ton of speed wherever he lines up- he creates huge plays with the ball in his hands and is a threat everywhere on the field. Higgins is explosive out of the backfield- he's patient behind the line of scrimmage, has great vision, and is excellent at making defenders miss, constantly coming up with huge gains on the ground. Higgins is just as good at running routes and catching the ball- he gains great separation with his speed and quickness, has a reliable set of hands, and can create a lot of extra yardage after the catch. Defensively, Higgins is fantastic at reading and reacting to plays- he flies to the ball and consistently puts himself in great position to affect plays, coming up with huge stops against the run and pass. Higgins was incredibly impressive last year, ending his junior season with 1450 rushing yards, 525 receiving, and 101 tackles on defense. Higgins has been picking up tons of collegiate attention from all over this offseason- receiving offers from UAB, Tulane, Liberty, and plenty of others. Be sure to watch his tape below, he's got tons of talent and is set up for a massive senior season this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='401129' first='Michael' last='Bowens Jr.'] was one of the state's top OTs last season, paving the way and providing great protection up front for Escambia all season long. Bowens has been dominant at LT, especially as a run blocker- at 6'5 250 he moves really well, plays with great leverage, and has a ton of strength/power he uses to pancake defenders at the line of scrimmage and further downfield. It's seriously impressive watching him move from level to level- he opens up massive rushing lanes for the ball carrier and is a huge asset to his team's ground game. Bowens is just as valuable in pass protection- he does a great job setting his feet, countering rush moves, and being an anchor on his side of the line, rarely allowing any pressure on his QB. I was left super impressed with Bowens' tape, it's clear he's been a massive piece of Escambia offenses these last few years and I'm really looking forward to seeing what he'll do later this year. Bowens has had a busy offseason, picking up offers from Memphis, WKU, ECU, and plenty more. Be sure to watch Bowens' tape below and this upcoming season, he's extremely talented and is set up for a massive year this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1626485' first='DJ' last='Broughton'] is a dominant WR out of Mary G Montgomery who made some huge plays out wide last fall, he's got serious potential and will be a name to watch out for this year. At 6'5 215, Borughton is a matchup nightmare for opposing DBs. He uses his size to his advantage in a bunch of different ways- consistently dominating DBs by mossing them deep downfield, playing through contact to haul in catches, and never being brought down after first contact. Broughton is especially dominant in the redzone- last season he was incredibly consistent and came away with some massive scoring plays off of a variety of different routes. One thing that really stood out to me with Broughton's tape was his versatility- he lines up almost everywhere on the field, finding ways to make plays outside, in the slot, and even at TE in certain packages. I was really impressed with Broughton's tape- he's a dominant pass catcher who thrives off his size and physicality and is heading into a big season this fall. Broughton picked up an offer from Southern Mississippi a few weeks back and you can go ahead and bet more schools will follow soon. He's put together some great tape from last year you can see below and is bound to have a huge senior season this fall!

Jaecyn "Scoot" Myles is an explosive prospect out of Daphne who has made tons of plays on special teams as a returner and on offense as a WR. Myles is electric with the ball in his hands wherever he lines up- he plays with a ton of speed and twitch that helps him navigate and exploit defenses both out wide at WR, and in the return game. Myles is incredibly fast, can go from 0-100 at a moment's notice, and has great change of direction that helps him come up with huge plays in the open field. Whether it's after the catch or off a return, Myles is highly elusive and excellent at making defenders miss, consistently breaking off explosive plays from anywhere on the field. As a pass catcher, Myles finds a lot of success on the outside- he gains a lot of separation off of his speed and route running, is great at tracking the ball, and has a set of reliable hands he uses to haul in tough-to-catch passes all around the field. Myles was dominant for Daphne last season, ending his junior year with 35 receptions for 296 yards and 2 touchdowns on offense, and several massive returns on special teams. Myles just recently picked up an offer from Alabama A@M and will surely find more soon, he's got tons of talent and is set up for a huge season this fall. Be sure to watch his film below in the meantime!

[player_tooltip player_id='401124' first='Le'Kamren' last='Meadows'] is a dominant back out of Moody who has been terrific for their rushing attack, making huge plays and opening up their offense a ton over the past few seasons. Meadows is a tough back to stop. He's extremely patient behind the line of scrimmage and waits for the perfect opportunity to strike, consistently finding wide-open rushing lanes to move the ball through. Meadows is highly athletic- at 6'0 210, he plays with a ton of twitch, has great acceleration, and makes defenses pay with his speed in the open field. I'm also really impressed with Meadows' contact balance- with his size and speed he's a hard guy to tackle and constantly requires multiple defenders to bring him down. I'm pumped up to watch Meadows this fall, he's a complete back with a huge senior season on the horizon- there's a real chance he ends up as one of our state's leading rushers next year. Meadows is coming off a terrific season, he carried the ball 149 times for 1037 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground, with 11 receptions for 157 yards and 2 touchdowns through the air. With how well he played last fall Meadows has seen his recruitment open up a ton, picking up offers from WKU, UT Martin, and more. Be sure to take a look at his tape below, he's a dominant back with a huge senior season ahead of him this fall.
