The 2025 Prep Redzone 7v7 Circuit continued this weekend in Gainesville, Georgia with the first ever PRZ Southern Brawl. It was a great weekend of football in north Georgia and we'll have a ton of content dropping, looking at some of the best players that stood out throughout the weekend. In this breakdown, we're taking a look at Route 80 Elite after they captured the 14U championship on Sunday. A team made up of future standouts from Alabama and Georgia came together and went unbeaten in the tournament this weekend. They were dominant from start to finish, winning almost every game by double digits. They would beat MoneyTeam Elite in the championship game. And with the win, they have earned a free bid to the Prep Redzone National Championship at the Pro Football Hall Of Fame on April 26th-27th. Below, we take a look at five of their players that stood out during the weekend. Keep it locked into Prep Redzone for more coverage of this weekend's PRZ Southern Brawl!

[player_tooltip player_id='1593520' first='Braylen' last='Averett'] - 2029 Wide Receiver/Defensive Back (Alabama)

We mentioned that this team was made up of players from Alabama and Georgia and while four out of the five players on this breakdown are from Georgia, here's the one exception. 2029 wide receiver and defensive back Brayeln Averett was an absolute star on both sides of the ball from start to finish. If we gave out MVP honors for the championship game, it would without a doubt go to Averett after the big plays he made on offense as well as defense. He made big catches on offense and had a huge interception against a really good quarterback on the defensive side of the ball. He played big in the biggest game of the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='1404641' first='Cameron' last='Anderson'] - 2029 Quarterback (Georgia)

We got a chance to see a lot of really solid quarterbacks throughout the weekend in north Georgia. That just comes with the territory at these 7v7 tournaments. 2029 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1404641' first='Cameron' last='Anderson'] really impressed us every time we got a chance to watch Route 80 Elite on Saturday and into Sunday. There's a reason why they were lighting up the scoreboard and it started with Anderson at the quarterback position. Being 5-10 yards away from him as he worked was definitely beneficial to see just how much control he had over the offense. He always looked like he was in control and had a really strong showing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1404657' first='Corey' last='Creswell'] - 2029 Wide Receiver (Georgia)

2029 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1404657' first='Corey' last='Creswell'] impressed us early on in the 14U championship game with his ability to attack a defense over the middle. And going back and watching some of the video we have, Creswell also looked like he has room to grow moving forward. He has extremely long arms and that made him a big target throughout the weekend. But that also means that Creswell might not even be close to done growing and could end up being a very big target in the passing game. He's another 8th grader to keep an eye out for when he enters the high school ranks in the fall.

David Clowney - 2028 Wide Receiver (Georgia)

2028 wide receiver David Clowney is the only 2028 prospect on this breakdown but he definitely stood out in one way or another throughout the weekend. Clowney was calm, cool and collected every time we got a chance to watch them in action. He would find holes in the defensive secondary with regularity and that was a big reason why they continued to light up the scoreboard. Clowney never got too high or too low throughout the weekend and that's definitely a positive trait to watch moving forward. Emotions can run high in these tournaments but Clowney was composed throughout and did his job well.

Jeremiah Mathis - 2029 Wide Receiver (Georgia)

Going back and watching the video of the championship game, we were once again impressed with the work of 2029 wide receiver Jeremiah Mathis. On one play in particular, Mathis climbs the ladder to snag a pass on a curl route, evades the corner covering him, jukes out another defender before putting another defender in the spin cycle and finally being tagged 10-15 yards later. It might have been the very best play that didn't result in points that we saw this weekend. And that was just the tip of the iceberg for Mathis, who is just a 2029 prospect and we feel confident that he has a bright future.
