The best thing about this NFL season is how running backs Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, Josh Jacobs, and Jahmyr Gibbs have provided a rebirth to the running back position.

For almost a decade it seems like the pro game has been all about quarterbacks and wideouts.

I grew up watching great backs Tony Dorsett, Herschel Walker, Bo Jackson, Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, and Barry Sanders.

Hopefully, the running game resurgence will continue and these running backs in the Kansas Class of 2025, who have signed or committed to play with college programs, will be able to showcase their skills on Saturdays or even Sundays.

This is an interesting group of backs as many of the statistical rushing leaders in Kansas are still uncommitted. Several of these guys could play running back or could switch positions in college.
