We are almost ready to reveal our winter update to the Class of 2026 Rankings, but before we do that, I wanted to highlight a few incoming seniors who I believe are flying under the radar. These guys have stood out during film reviews, and all have the potential to play ball at the next level.

Our rankings updates always include a watchlist with hundreds of players that we believe have the potential to be collegiate prospects, but we haven't seen enough to place them on the rankings. This is due to a lack of film, playing time, injuries, etc. The nice thing is that nothing is set in stone, and WL players can always move up to the rankings, which is what we are looking to highlight below.

Check out these five juniors who you should expect to see make the jump from the watchlist to the rankings in our next update!

Going into the season, we were on high alert that this could be a big year for Elkhorn South protector [player_tooltip player_id='795612' first='Alex' last='Greufe'], and he more than delivered. Greufe passes the eye test immediately with his 6'4" and 260-pound frame with lengthy arms that allow him to corral pass rushers attacking off the edge. Watching Alex's tape, I was very impressed with his mobility, flashing nice agility, and lateral quickness that helped him move across the line of scrimmage and into the second level to clear out run lanes. He always keeps his hands loaded and ready to explode through defenders. Clean, quick footwork when dropping back in pass protection. Great block finisher— always looking to drive defenders into the dirt. Since the end of the season, Alex has already started gaining momentum in his recruitment with an in-state offer from Wayne State and will likely carry that into the camp cycle.

Lincoln East's [player_tooltip player_id='795474' first='Zander' last='Zuniga'] had a solid breakout season in year three, finishing second on the team in tackles. The junior LB finished last year with 72 tackles, 6 TFLs, two sacks, and a fumble recovery, playing outside linebacker on the Spartan's defense. Watching Zander's tape, I see a well-rounded LB who can set the edge against the run, pin his ears back to get after the QB, or flip his hips to drop into coverage. He flashes a quick first step that allows him to shoot off the edge with the twitch to beat blockers at the line and break into the backfield. Zuniga plays with great pursuit and a tireless motor that keeps him running from snap to whistle. Stock riser!!

Centura's [player_tooltip player_id='796578' first='Trevin' last='Grabowski'] is a player who could draw attention from colleges to play on either offense or defense. Grabowski plays running back and linebacker for the Centurions, ending the year with 758 rushing yards, eight rushing touchdowns, 47 tackles, and five TFLs. Grabowski isn't a flashy runner who will dance around; instead, he looks to drop his pads and drive through defenders to pick up tough yards between the tackles. He is extremely strong, especially in his lower body, showing great balance as he absorbs contact and stays upright. Trevin may not be a flashy back, but he does show enough wiggle to bounce runs to the outside and hit small creases he finds in the defense. Defensively, Grabowski does a great job getting downhill to defend the run and has the range to reach either sideline from that inside LB position. He plays LB, but I wonder if he could even play safety at the next level. Lots to work with here!

Here's a player who has slowly but surely risen the ranks since drawing our attention during his freshman season. Creighton Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='795742' first='Shelden' last='Golliday'] is a tall, lengthy receiver who could be a productive wideout at the next level. On top of already being 6'3", Shelden has some long arms that give him a QB-friendly catch radius and is very reliable at the catch point with big mitts for the ball to land in. Nice route running with impressive start/stop for being a taller receiver. The Jr. Jays run a very run-heavy offense, so we don't have a big enough sample of Shelden's game, but the measurables and athleticism are definitely there.

Gothenburg QB [player_tooltip player_id='1395948' first='Landon' last='Mroczek'] is on the rise after a solid season in which he broke out as a dual-threat. Landon is a home run threat if he's able to outrush defenses to the edge with his 4.67 40-yard speed, which allows him to separate once he hits the open field. On top of being fast, Mroczek is also shifty, showing that he can shake defenders in space. Solid arm strength allows him to push the ball downfield with accuracy. I was impressed with Landon's ability to make quick reads and get the ball out fast to keep the offense rolling and ahead of the chains. His mobility also allows him to extend plays with his legs and buy time for his receivers downfield. Solid prospect if you're looking for a QB in the '26 cycle!
