Ralston's [player_tooltip player_id='501426' first='Brayden' last='Vandervort'] is a player I think will blow up once more schools catch on to what he can do on the field. Vandervort is a player we've been keeping a close eye on since his freshman season when he tested extremely well at one of our showcases. Since then, Brayden has been waiting for his opportunity and took advantage of it this season after transferring to Ralston. Vandervort caught 13 receptions for 278 yards and three receiving touchdowns. Brayden is a great route running receiver who showed he can create separation from defenders with his sharp change of direction at the breakoff point and ability to attack the opposing defender's leverage. He also flashes a good football IQ and awareness for finding the open spots in coverage. Vandervort is aggressive at attacking the ball at the catch point while displaying excellent concentration through the catch process. He has natural hands that resulted in some very impressive catches throughout Brayden's highlight tape, including plays where he had to adjust his body to the ball and some fighting through contact. Good speed (4.6) and burst off the line help him build speed quickly and attack defenses vertically. Stud!

Someone needs to scoop this tackling machine up! Hershey's [player_tooltip player_id='1217783' first='Rhodee' last='Hill'] was on an incredible pace before injuries ended his season at seven games, averaging a state-high 15 tackles per game, and was the only player to end in the top 50 in tackles while playing less than nine games. Hill capped off his junior season with 105 tackles, 3 TFLs, a sack, four forced fumbles, and an interception. Watching Rhodee's tape, I noticed that he plays at full throttle from start to finish, with an intense motor and pursuit that drives him to the ball on nearly every play. Hill plays with excellent instincts and quickly reads and reacts to his keys. Sharp first step and burst through his gap make him difficult to hold back when trying to break into the backfield. Rhodee was also productive on offense, with 603 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns, and 78 receiving yards.

Pius X's [player_tooltip player_id='1625849' first='Maddox' last='Easley'] is a very intriguing prospect going into the 2025 season. Easley served as the Thunderbolt's backup QB but saw action in three games while the starter dealt with injury. Although Maddox didn't put up eye-popping numbers during this stretch, he did manage to flash his upside as a passer. Right off the bat, Easley passes the eye test at 6'3" and 190 pounds, with room to continue growing into his frame. Easley displayed a strong arm that can deliver an accurate throw with good timing and can drop it right in the bucket. Good timing on his passes. Easley also showed nice mobility to evade pass rushers while keeping his eyes downfield. Good speed on his passes with a nice, tight spiral. I'm sure we'll see offers headed Maddox's way once coaches get him on campus for workouts.

Millard North's [player_tooltip player_id='488173' first='Nate' last='Marable'] is a player we had tabbed as someone set to breakout in 2024, and that projection looked good until an injury shorted his season. At a lengthy 6'4" and 270 pounds, Nate clearly has the measurables that coaches will look for at the next level. Marable's size, strength, and lengthy extension make him a handful to contain at the line of scrimmage. He uses his strong base very well to move blockers off their spot and can then dip into his pass rush/hand usage to disengage. Although the tape sample is small, with the measurables and talent there, I'm sure it won't be long before coaches start to take notice.

You can always count on some of those 8-man teams to find physical, hard-hitting, versatile football players ready to make an impact. Kenesaw's [player_tooltip player_id='1217788' first='Adam' last='Denkert'] is exactly that, as he displayed a well-rounded skillset on offense and defense. Denkert is a bigger RB at 6'2" and 190 pounds who plays a mean, physical running style. Even at 6'2", Adam makes sure to consistently keep his pad level low with the driving force to barrel through the chest of any def ender trying to get in his way. One thing that stood out about Adam is that he can also be used as a receiving target, either out of the backfield or lined up anywhere across the formation. Nice burst once he hits the open field with the acceleration to break away from defenses. Defensively, I can see Adam playing linebacker or a box safety role, especially considering how well he can cover the field and defend the run.
