With the last update coming before the season, the Class of 2026 rankings received a highly deserved overhaul, which saw our list grow to over 500 ranked+watchlist prospects. One of the best parts of doubling our prospect pool is seeing all the new names that emerged on our radar throughout the 2024 season. To continue coverage from the update, I highlight a few prospects who either jumped from the watchlist or rose up in the rankings.

Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1114427' first='Treyvon' last='Alexander'] did a great job stepping into the starting center role for the Islanders. When reviewing the film, I was really impressed with Treyvon's aggressiveness at the point of attack and how he's always looking to finish his blocks. He delivers a quick, accurate snap to his QB before firing out of his stance to make the initial contact and move defenders off the ball. Good "pop" in his hands. Treyon also plays with a great bend in his hips and maintains a consistent pad level while engaged with defenders. Strong, sturdy base keeps him from giving up ground and allows him to drive blockers out of lanes. He is very alert and always keeps his head on a swivel, looking to pick up any blitzing/stunting defenders. Solid OL prospect who is only scratching the surface.

[player_tooltip player_id='1115008' first='Connor' last='Haney'] (@connor__haney), WR - Grand Island Central Catholic - 6'2" 180 lbs

GICC's [player_tooltip player_id='1115008' first='Connor' last='Haney'] is a player with two-way upside, but watching his receiver tape, it's hard not to see him carving defenses up at the collegiate level. Haney was a key player on a Crusaders team that found itself back in the playoffs, ending the year with 39 catches for 597 yards and seven receiving touchdowns. Haney is a slick receiver who can flow in and out of defenses, exploiting open areas in the coverage. I think Haney's speed and burst off the line get overlooked because he does a great job quickly eating up the cushion given by DBs before breaking off and creating separation at the top of his route. He has a taller, bigger frame at 6'2", 175 pounds, which allows him to be physical at the catch point and makes him a favorite to win jump-balls. Lengthy frame gives him a very QB-friendly catch radius. Haney also posted 51 tackles, 10 TFLs, a sack, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

One of the many unsung heroes on a tremendous Millard South team that throttled their way to a state championship. Part of what made them so dominant was their depth, including players like junior [player_tooltip player_id='487607' first='Dayton' last='Gaius'], a key member of the secondary. Dayton ended his junior season with 32 tackles, two TFLs, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. What stood out the most when watching Dayton's tape was how well he plays his hands and ball skills at the catch point. He's very smart about getting his hands up to break up passes and is more than willing to get physical with receivers to mess up their concentration. Another part of Dayton's game that impressed me was how comfortable he feels on an island by himself, even stepping up to the line to press receivers coming off the ball. He has the speed to stick to a receiver's hip, playing with fluid hips and quick feet that allow him to change direction very well. Big-time player from a big-time program ready to make a splash on the recruiting trail!

Talk about a thumper at LB! Sutton's [player_tooltip player_id='795469' first='Jacob' last='Huxoll'] looked like a throwback inside linebacker with his big frame, intense motor, and willingness to deliver bruising hits. Jacob recorded 75 tackles, two forced fumbles, and an interception during his junior campaign. As I mentioned, Jacob has the type of size coaches look for at the next level at 6'2" and 230 pounds, with solid testing numbers (31" vertical jump and 4.61 40-yard dash) to drive home how impressive an athlete he is. Huxoll plays with great instincts, including how quickly he can read his keys to stop the run or flip his hips to drop into coverage. When he keys on the run, Jacob displays a quick first step that springs him downhill with the speed-to-power ability to blow up blockers at the line of scrimmage and continue his pursuit. Smart gap defender. Don't sleep on these small school prospects!

[player_tooltip player_id='1217721' first='Brynndon' last='Bradley'] (@BrynndonBradley), ATH - Amherst - 6'0" 200 lbs

Amherst's [player_tooltip player_id='1217721' first='Brynndon' last='Bradley'] is a versatile athlete, listed as a WR and LB, with the upside to play either position at the next level. On the offensive side of the ball, Brynndon is an exceptional receiver with incredible catches scattered throughout his highlight tape. He displays excellent concentration through the catch process with great focus and body control when adjusting to the ball in the air. Bradley also flashed solid speed, proving he could get behind defenders and provide a deep threat to the offense. Brynndon also showed his ability to create separation. Defensively, Brynndon used his speed to cover large chunks of field and was quick to break on the ball. Secure tackler when he gets to his target. Definitely someone to monitor this offseason.
