Prospect Sheet Deep Dive: Landmark Christian War Eagles

Landmark Christian is a smaller school, but they have some notable prospects on their team, especially the 2028 class. Several high-upside puppies are just starting to scratch the surface. Here is a breakdown of some of their more notable prospects.   2026 Standouts    Skylar Hamilton is a two-way player for Landmark Christian at QB and S. He is a 3 sport athlete, also playing basketball and track. Projects long-term as a QB. He is a little raw mechanically, but he has a long, heavy delivery and can generate some velocity with his arm alone. When on the move, he proves he is capable of torquing his hips when he throws. He reads the defense and soft spots well on the move. He does an excellent job of mixing up pace, tempo, and trajectory on the ball. In the tighter windows, the ball comes out with more zip. He lofts the deep ball with good touch and consistently keeps it away from DBs. He is a good enough athlete to hurt you with his legs, but he hurts you with his eyes too, winning with vision and patience. He is tough, consistently hanging back an extra second in the pocket to take on contact when he lets the ball go.     Jo'Van Freeney is highly productive both as a receiver and a DB for Landmark Christian. He also has a basketball background. He is a long strider in the open field who attacks cutback lanes beautifully by maintaining his speed throughout the weave. Excellent ball skills, plucking the ball off the helmet of defenders and making tough grabs in awkward spots. He isn't super twitchy off the line, but creates space for himself to operate by attacking leverage or creating leverage through deception. Looks to have more natural DB instincts. He is consistently in the right position to make plays on the football. He strikes hard when he gets going downhill. He can twist and turn with receivers when the ball is in the air. His length is challenging to compete with at the catch point. There is plenty of upside here. Freeney is a new name to me and a massive sleeper as it stands today.     [player_tooltip player_id='1664493' first='Brady' last='Robinson'] is a strong LB prospect with a state runner-up in wrestling under his belt. He is strong as is, but he can still add weight to his 190-pound frame. His wrestling background pays off in football. He plays with a low center of gravity, making him almost impossible to tackle on offense when he gets going in space. It also allows him to get underneath ball carriers and upend them from the ground. He meets blockers at the door with violence and doesn't stall at all when pursuing the ball through traffic. He pairs his outstanding leverage and strength with decent range and explosiveness. He could be a steal for smaller schools and his best ball is still ahead of him.    2027 Standouts    Chase Brewington is a basketball-first guy, but his eye-popping measurables are enough to grasp the attention of college coaches. He is certainly raw, still developing some fundamentals and nuance in his game. He uses his length to press blockers and keep his chest clean. He has a wide tackling radius and engulfs ball carriers as a result. Brewington is a fleet mover who is still developing football-specific traits and IQ. He is a project, but offers college coaches plenty of upside if they can unlock what he is capable of.     [player_tooltip player_id='1599061' first='Kamsi' last='Ifeadi'] is a stout RB prospect who plays both ways for Landmark Christian. He is certainly more of a bruiser and fits the "thunder" description of a RB duo. He is not at all hesitant to run straight into people, proven with his LB reps as well. He has strong, muscular legs which allow him to drive through contact. He can dip his shoulder and drop his head to meet tacklers low when they're trying to attack the trunk. I wouldn't consider him a speedster, but he has enough twitch to make plays happen in the short areas and create some room to operate. Ifeadi is tough to bring down and leaves bruises on DBs.    2028 Standouts    Carter French is a short, stout DL prospect who projects strictly on the interior, and possibly at NT. He plays with knee-buckling strength and does a good job keeping his feet firing to move blockers and dent the pocket. He can rip blockers off their base and completely collapse running lanes as well. He is more of a pocket-denter, but does flash decent enough arm moves to keep his chest clean and free himself when needed. French's size and strength fit the billing of a NT projection. His active feet and subtle arm moves round his game.     This isn't my first time taking a look at Cole Pollock. As a freshman, he was productive against the ball. He is still adding some twitch and explosiveness, but his fluid hips allow him to turn and run to stay in phase down the field. He obviously has the ball skills to execute at the point of attack, evidenced by a pair of INTs and several PBUs in 2024. Pollock should naturally grow as an athlete as he gets older and spends more time in a weight room. Regardless, he is a fluid mover who can strap up receivers and make plays when the ball heads his way.     I've become pretty bullish on [player_tooltip player_id='1651437' first='Quinn' last='Pollock'] after watching his freshman tape. He hovers around 6'0 170 with plenty of time to grow into his frame. He is a smooth mover with fluid hips, helping him turn and burn to a spot. He is patient and doesn't panic if he gets turned around and has to recover. He brilliantly plays through the hands of the football, it could be teach tape for other DBs. He is a willing tackler who can run and chase in the box. Pollock can play a few spots in the secondary. I will be tracking him closely as he grows athletically.     [player_tooltip player_id='1524568' first='Noah' last='Brewington'] is another raw, yet massive DL prospect with a basketball background. He is still getting a feel for his gigantic frame and long limbs, but he is still hard to move up front as is. He is only going to keep adding mass as well. His length helps him keep his chest clean and give him room to operate. He is still looking to add some twitch and explosiveness, but he is a natural athlete with the capacity to do so. Brewington might eventually fill out and slide inside. Regardless, I am interested to see how he looks a year from now, let alone another 3.
