It is that time of year again that we update our rankings and this time it is in the class of 2027. I have been providing previously unranked prospects from the 8-Man ranks throughout the state and 11-Man prospects from Western Kansas. Now we unveil these ballers and see where they will be ranked as of this moment.

I'll be showcasing four more small school prospects that will be in these new 2027 rankings we rolled out on Tuesday. Three that play 8-Man and one trench monster from the 1A classification in the 11-Man side of things.

Strongly built center prospects that is also a top notch baseball prospect in the 2027 class as a pitcher/first base man.

Ever improving on his pad level but an athletic mauler with a lot of upside still to be tapped into. He is able to snap from under center and in the shot-gun. Has played all across the offensive line and in multiple types of offensive systems early in his playing career. Primary position is center. Defensively he plays defensive tackle when called upon.

Standing at 6-foot-4 and 275-pound Tudor (ranked 271 overall and the 31st OL) is a very intriguing center prospect. He comes from very good pedigree as his cousin was just named the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year in Myles Menges (Fort Hays State) this past fall. Multiple other family members played college football as offensive lineman through the years.

Even though he has played mostly center in his football career, he has had snaps at both the offensive guard and offensive tackle positions for Ellinwood. Makes for quite the formidable duo with fellow 2027 defensive line prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='1612735' first='Nick' last='Miller'] for the Eagles.

He was a Second Team All-Central Prairie League performer at center behind another 2027 prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='1370389' first='Kyle' last='Huser'] of Victoria. Definitely keep your eye on Tudor these coming seasons as he sky rockets up the rankings.

Tackling machine on the defensive side but just as capable of a runner from his running back spot for the Gorillas. Standing 5-foot-10, 175-pounds, Hamm-Jones still has plenty of room to grow as an prospect.

What catches your attention most about him is his ability to play very physical on both sides of the ball and also showcase his agility. He is able to play sideline to sideline and get off blocks quite well from his linebacker position.

Solomon may not have had the season they have been accustomed to this past fall. A lot of that has to do with the overall youth of their roster. One of the brighter spots for the Gorillas was Hamm-Jones (ranked 299 overall and the 48th LB), who provided a lot for them this past fall from a statistical perspective.

He had 94 tackles (52 solo and 42 assisted) and four tackles for loss from his linebacker position. A sideline to sideline type of player, he should be in the position to put up some eye popping 100+ tackle numbers these next two seasons.

Also a standout on the offensive side of the ball, he lead the team in both rushing and total touchdowns. Rushed for 533 yards on 126 carries and eight total touchdowns. He is a physical runner who also shows good agility when he has the ball in his hands.

Was an Honorable Mention All-State 8-Man I linebacker but also an First Team All-Wheat State linebacker and Second Team All-Wheat State running back.

Miller is one of those linebackers that you can see all the potential in the world already with the way he moves and his frame.

Moves very well sideline to sideline and has shown the ability to force turnovers or be in the position to recover them with quite ease. You can tell his wrestling background has been to his advantage.

Chase County did not finish the way they had hoped after falling to Central Plains in the 8-Man I Regional Round but that did not stop some of the younger Bulldogs from making their mark on the 7-3 season. One of those 2027 prospects to keep an eye on is the 5-foot-10, 175-pound linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1616076' first='Clark' last='Miller'].

Miller (ranked 298 overall and the 47th LB) had 44 tackles (13 solo and 31 assisted), one tackle for loss, one interception, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. Offensively he was not as much of a focus this past fall. But look to him to be one of the main focal points in the receiving corp after graduations of the top two receivers.

He has the make-up to be one of the better players in 8-Man I in the coming seasons for Coach Vandegrift and staff.

Hemberger is a ever developing quarterback and secondary player who shows very good athletic ability and football IQ.

He shows a quality arm but ever the threat to run in the Titans spread attack. Also shows good patience in the pocket but also throws a nice ball when he gets out on the edge. Can always ever improve with his footwork and mechanics but still a productive quarterback at such a young age.

Also plays as cornerback defensively where he shows very solid ball skills and tackling ability.

The 5-foot-10, 150-pound Hemberger (ranked 297 overall and the 38th QB) was major cog in the Attica/Argonia attack on both sides of the ball. Even though they came up short in the 8-Man II plays to Dighton and finished the season 7-3, the 2027 two-way standout showed he was willing to help lead the Titans in any way needed.

He finished the season 23 of 52 passing for 526 yards passing, 15 touchdowns and only three interceptions on the season. Very much a able runner, he racked up 285 yards rushing on 76 carries and an additional five touchdowns. Giving him 20 total touchdowns and 811 total yards on the season.

From his cornerback position he provided 37 stops (26 solo and 11 assisted) and one interception this past fall.

Look for Hemberger and to be senior [player_tooltip player_id='1229106' first='Carson' last='Vineyard'] to be the main cogs in the Titans offensive attack next season.

Be on the lookout for more Western Kansas prospects and overlooked small town hero's coming from the 8-Man ranks in coming updates. Again if anyone knows of someone that needs to be recognized, just hit me up on my X account at @Coach_Mitchum.
