It is that time of the year again where we get to see some of the best 13 and 14 year old football players in the state of Mississippi. This is a team who has won a national championship two years ago. Their program thrives on getting their young players some mature development.

[player_tooltip player_id='1395939' first='Cayson' last='Pierce']

Pierce is a 2030 defensive lineman from Houston who we are excited to get our eyes on this weekend. He is a 5-foot-9, 200-pound kid who we are thinking will continue to grow. At this point, he looks like he is going to be an interior guy on the next level. We are going to be watching to see how he uses his hand and how quick is release is from the line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630348' first='Keano' last='Yumontez Washington']

Washington is a 2030 defensive back from Houston who should be pulling up to the evaluation this Saturday. He has been known to be a stud amongst his peers. We are going to be looking to see how good his hips are in that tall body, lanky body that he has. This is a 5-foot-10, 140-pound young man who we are expecting to continue to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1630485' first='Shamar' last='Nichols']

Nichols is a 2029 prospect from Tupelo who has been impressive over his career. This young man checked in at 6-foot-2, 150 pounds when he arrived at the You Are Athlete combine in Birmingham this past weekend. We are thinking that he is going to be a receiver on the next level. He already has an understanding of how things work in the route tree. You can see his burst when he releases from the line. Be sure to remember his name.

Jaylin Brown

Brown is a safety who we are excited to get our eyes on. We are not sure about his weight, but he is standing at 5-foot-10. This young man has a lot of potential. He could possibly be one of the best prospects in the nation for the 2030 class. Some would say it is too early to tell, be he is telling a good tale. Brown does not mind coming up to make hits. He can also be a field general in the middle of the field. He is a guy to keep up with.

It is that time of the year again where we get to see some of the best 13 and 14 year old football players in the state of Mississippi. This is a team who has won a national championship two years ago. Their program thrives on getting their young players some mature development.
