His length and power make him difficult to block in one-on-one situations. Lewis is a good run-stopper and effectively fills gaps between the 0 and 3 techniques. He displays good upfield burst off the snap, using good pad level, hand placement, lower body strength, and active feet to drive the offensive linemen back, creating pressure and making stops in the backfield. He is remarkably stout and does not lose ground against down blocks or combos. His change of direction and lateral agility enable him to evade early penetration from defenders. With good burst and acceleration, he can outrun second-level defenders to reach the sideline and burst upfield. He has it all and will be a highly sought-after prospect by his senior season. He showcases a quick release due to his good acceleration, foot quickness, and footwork. His foot quickness allows him to eat up space quickly and create separation off his breaks, due to his good change of direction, lateral agility, balance, and burst. Additionally, he is a vertical threat, using his speed to beat his defenders over the top.
