Celebration Needs To Commit Year Round

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>When Celebration High's football season ended last Nov. 1 with a 21-14 win against Kissimmee Gateway, this program realized that it needed to make a commitment to ensure that what took place in 2024 would not repeat itself in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With head coach <strong>Chris Blanton</strong> and his staff reflecting on a year that saw the Storm win just three times, what they did was play on the positives and not dwell on the negatives.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>If this program is to turn things around and get over the .500 mark in 2025, it will take a number of things for that to take place.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team needs to understand that what it puts in throughout January, February, March, April, into the spring and summer will be a direct reflection on what happens during the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Camps, combines, 7-on-7 events and daily conditioning has to take center stage and be a priority.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Also, every prospect on the team – by the end of spring needs to have game film. No excuses! You cannot sell a name, height, weight, position and grade information to ANY college without a video that showcases the athlete's football accomplishments.
