[player_tooltip player_id='1415002' first='Sy' last='Austin'] — 5-9, 180 RB — Franklinton

The Demons' star running back received a heavy endorsement to college coaches from coach Nick Saltaformaggio after the team's state runner-up performance, and rightfully so. Austin racked up 147 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries in the title game to cap a 2,078-yard, 31-touchdown senior season that garnered an all-state honorable-mention nod in a loaded Class 4A ballot. He is Prep Redzone Louisiana's highest ranked unsigned prospect at the position.

[player_tooltip player_id='1078299' first='Tommy' last='Bower II'] — 6-4, 275 OL — E.D. White

The highest-ranked prospect on Prep Redzone Louisiana's 2025 list without a confirmed college signing, the Cardinals' big left tackle was a key anchor on a run-heavy offense that racked up more than 4,000 total yards on its way to a state runner-up finish. Bower was credited with 48 pancakes and no sacks allowed and was most heavily recruited by in-state Southland Conference programs as an upperclassman.

[player_tooltip player_id='710769' first='Korey' last='Fontenot'] — 6-1, 165 WR — Opelousas

One of the bigger-listed pass-catchers on this list, Fontenot showed enough speed down the field to serve as his Tigers' primary deep threat the past couple of years, including his junior highlights on the way to the program's historic state title. But he has also shown the most consistent commitment and effectiveness of this group as a blocker on the perimeter for the team's typically physical, downhill attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='144906' first='Jerry' last='Horne'] — 6-2, 215 QB — Denham Springs

Prep Redzone Louisiana's top-ranked unsigned quarterback is still weighing options at multiple division levels before settling into his college route. Horne has been on the radar from early on with his good build, strong arm, enough mobility to extend some plays and intangibles with his toughness and poise that stood out more and more as he developed into a leader for the Yellow Jackets over the course of his career.

[player_tooltip player_id='710772' first='Antron' last='Mason II'] — 6-0, 165 WR — Bastrop

The Rams' multisport standout, currently enjoying a strong senior season on the basketball court, is Prep Redzone Louisiana's top-ranked unsigned wide receiver prospect on the list with a good combination of size and speed on the outside and the ability to consistently win at the catch-point with his leap, body control and ball skills in the air. Mason could be an interesting prospect to watch this fall in either sport.

[player_tooltip player_id='912254' first='Carlos' last='O'Brien'] Jr. — 6-1, 175 WR — Comeaux

"Pop" has been one of our more intriguing wide receiver prospects in the class throughout his high school career, but had injury and coaching and school changes hinder some of his momentum along the way. O'Brien has a good overall next-level length to his frame and a knack for making big plays in the air with his timing, athleticism, catch radius and strong hands, but has also shown the ability to win at every level of the field, creating separation in his shorter and intermediate route-running or pushing downfield vertically.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336922' first='Antonio' last='Reynolds'] — 6-0, 160 WR — Woodlawn (Shreveport)

The first of a pair of particularly speedy receivers to wrap up the list, Reynolds is quick off the line with listed 4.44-second 40-yard speed to stretch the field vertically, strong hands to make catches out away from his body in stride and to go up and win at the catch-point on some contested plays. A few Division-III and NAIA programs extended offers during his recruiting process, most recently including Culver-Stockton and Capital (Ohio).

[player_tooltip player_id='912255' first='Kaleb' last='Vaughn'] — 5-9, 165 ATH — Neville

The Tigers' dynamic weapon boasts 4.3-second 40-yard and 10.58-second 100-meter dashes that helped make him a lethal weapon on both offense and special teams. Vaughn is explosive to create separation out of his breaks or with the ball in his hands as a returner, in the quick-passing game or in a variety of ways an offense can move him around the field.
