[player_tooltip player_id='1288438' first='Brandon' last='Gibson']-Linebacker-Jonesboro-5'10” 175-Pounds

The Jonesboro area has a knack for producing talented linebackers. [player_tooltip player_id='1288438' first='Brandon' last='Gibson'] fits that description perfectly. Gibson does a great job of reading the play and putting himself in a position to make a play on the ball carrier. He sheds blocks quickly and has no trouble plugging up the rushing lanes. Meanwhile, he has the speed to drop back into pass coverage help disrupt the opposition's passing attack. Gibson is a player to watch out for this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1516821' first='Mario' last='Brownlee']-Linebacker-Prescott-5'11” 195-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1516821' first='Mario' last='Brownlee'] is a prospect on the defensive side of the ball that is not hard to find. He has quickly earned a reputation as a linebacker who can disrupt both the run and the passing attacks. Brownlee sheds blocks effectively and attacks the opposing offensive backfield. Meanwhile, he has no trouble separating the ball from the ball carrier in pass coverage. Brownlee is a linebacker that I expect to have a strong offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1544775' first='Brooks' last='Baxendale']-Linebacker-Greenland-5'9” 185-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1544775' first='Brooks' last='Baxendale'] is versatile enough to play multiple positions for the Greenland Pirates. He can easily shift from linebacker to safety without trouble. Baxendale has the speed to get sideline-to-sideline in pursuit of the ball carrier. He has the ability to move up and plug up the rushing lanes. Meanwhile, he can drop back into pass coverage and can cause plenty of headaches for the opposing attack. Baxendale has the potential to have a big offseason for the Pirates.

[player_tooltip player_id='1308354' first='Silas' last='Thomas']-Linebacker-ValleyView-6'0” 175-Pounds

The Valley View linebacker has the ability to live in the opposing offensive backfield. Thomas does a great job of shedding blocks and getting to the ball carrier. He has the speed to get sideline-to-sideline with no trouble. Thomas has an impact in defending both the run and the pass. He is a prospect who rarely needs to come off of the field in passing situations. Thomas is a prospect to watch out for this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223230' first='Cason' last='Roten']-Linebacker-Elkins-5'10” 200-Pounds

[player_tooltip player_id='1223230' first='Cason' last='Roten'] has built momentum the whole offseason up to this point. He has tremendous speed and showcased it well in January at the Prep Redzone Arkansas camp in Little Rock. Roten reads the play well and has no trouble shedding blocks and getting to the opposing ball carrier. He has the speed to drop back into pass coverage and disrupt the passing game. Roten has the potential to be a linebacker who rarely needs to come off of the field and he is a player to watch this offseason.
