Today, we're looking at some tough big men to know this offseason. It's a mixture of guys on the offensive and defensive lines that showed promise in 2024. They're not household names right now, but I think they're names college coaches should keep an eye on this offseason. With two years of eligibility left, I think they can continue to develop into really nice prospects and can make an impact at the next level.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1662963' first='Jaden' last='Withered'], 6'5" 295, Pleasant Grove

Jaden has the size of a big-time interior prospect. He's got some pop at the point of attack, he's flexible & can bend to get below a defender's chin strap, and has some bear paws that he uses to latch onto defenders. He can displace defenders on his own, he can retrace laterally with ease, and has a strong anchor that helps him give up little ground against opposing bull rushes. He plays with a chip on his shoulder and has a ton of raw onfield strength.

DL: Chase Lewis, 6'2" 225, Dickinson

A twitchy pass rusher with a lightning-quick first step, slip at the point of attack, and the ability to cause chaos in the run game. His speed gives pass protectors problems, he can generate knockback out of his stance and plays with a pretty high motor. He can line up all over the defensive line and make an impact against both the run and pass. He's a major force if left unblocked at any moment.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1752622' first='Keyon' last='Hemphill-Woods'], 6'3" 275, Columbus

Keyon pulls down the line with nasty intentions and has the capability of throwing defenders out of the club. He's light on his feet, he has the balance & body control to secure second-level blocks, and is quite violent on down blocks. He stays hip to hip on called double teams, he strikes defenders on a rise, and takes pride in finishing off his blocks. To me, he projects as a guard at the next level.

OL: [player_tooltip player_id='1597848' first='Jackson' last='Cook'] 6'5" 290, Lago Vista

A loose-hipped tackle who keeps his feet driving on contact and will engulf smaller defenders at the point of attack. He does a good job getting his second step in the ground and is a fighter through the echo of the whistle that's constantly looking for more work.
