In this report we will continue to take a close look at a variety of multi-positional standouts ready to optomize their opportunities as we go speeding into the next 2027 ranking updates.

So, without further adieu, let's take a look at some big-time ballers coming your way:

[player_tooltip player_id='403631' first='Cordale' last='Johnson'] , 6'0, 165, DB/WR, Maize, '27, is ranked #4, and is the highest ranked player in this report and a rising star after a solid sophomore season. I have been following him since last year when I was on hand for one of his workouts with Coach Cagle and MPA at Bethel College. He is a versatile, two-way playmaker who brings speed and athleticism to whatever spot he plays. On offense he runs good routes, has reliable hands and the burst and acceleration to take it to the house. On defense he is a smothering d-back who can press or pedal off the line or sink in zone as a ballhawk safety causing disruption. He is also a dangerous return man and is getting ready to run track this spring. This guy is going to have a blow-out season in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1125648' first='Maddox' last='McGinnis'] , 6'4, 290, OL, Wichita NW, '27, is ranked #10, he is the highest ranked lineman in this report and has been living up to the billing. He is a large and in charge presence in the trenches with great reach, a powerful lower body and a nasty disposition when it comes to destroying defenders. He is an aggressive brawler of a blocker in the run game, piledriving down blocks and unloading pancake blocks on the perimeter. With his quick feet and agility, he moves well laterally, whether it is pulling on the edge or out in front leading screens downfield. He has good mechanics and gets leverage with a quick initial step, before positioning and hammering the rusher in pass pro. This guy has D1 written all over him and is getting ready to overwhelm the opposition this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1113256' first='Kenvonta' last='Jackson'] , LB/Edge, 5'10”, 180, Wichita Southeast, '27, is ranked #16, he has not wasted any time stepping up to put the state on notice that there is a new baller in town after a standout season last fall. He is a disruptive playmaker on defense who can handle any of the linebacker positions or come off the edge. When he shoots the interior gaps or speed rushes the perimeter he moves with great pad level and burst and gets in the backfield like a gridiron torpedo. He has a powerful, compact frame with a low center of gravity and the lateral speed to close in a hurry and hit with authority on arrival. This past season he piled up 62 tackles, three sacks and had 10 QB hurries. With his instincts and big-time read and react skills he is getting ready to go off in '25.

[player_tooltip player_id='1541138' first='Carson' last='Bryant'] , 6'0, 205, Edge/LB, Goddard, '27, is ranked #56, he is coming off a good season as a two-way baller who can play tight end on offense, but really turned heads last year on defense as a head hunter of a linebacker or edge rusher. He is versatile enough to play anywhere along the defensive line but dominated on the edge, and with his next-level instincts and mobility, goes over and around offensive tackles to disrupt plays in the backfield. He has a strong frame with quick feet that enables him to shut down running plays and rush the passer, but also collapse down and jackhammer the run game between the tackles. With another year under his belt and an off-season of dedicated training he is going to be a major force this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='1614325' first='Carter' last='Valentine'], 6'0, 240, DL/Edge, Derby, '27, is currently unranked, he is off and running making a good impression with coaches and scouts as he fine tunes his varsity game. He has been flying under the radar and working hard behind the scenes getting ready for his opportunities. He is versatile enough to play anywhere along the defensive front, including as a run-mashing nose guard or tackle, but with his big frame, strong lower body and explosive step off the ball, was very effective jacking up plays and setting the edge as a defensive end. On the perimeter he is rock solid, violently hitting blockers in the mouth to stack up the run game or slip out and cut off speed plays on the perimeter. He is one of the strongest players in the weight room and with his drive will be ready for a breakout season this fall.

In conclusion, these guys are getting ready to be busy this fall, so get them on your watchlists. And, as always, if you know of any players flying under the radar, give me a shout via DM on X.
