<p>This is the second report that features Kansas freshman tackle leaders. It features five unranked athletes.</p>

<p>This is not an all-inclusive list as some schools do not post stats publicly. Stats for this report were found on Max Preps. Also, I did not include athletes with missing information on their Max Prep profiles.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599224' first='Spencer' last='Brown'],</strong> DL/OL, 5'9”, 150, Mission Valley, ‘28</p>

<p>Brown finished his freshman season with 51 tackles in nine games. He recorded four tackles for lost yardage and two quarterback sacks for the Vikings.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599225' first='Jason' last='Smith'],</strong> DB/WR, 5'11”, 162, Circle, ‘28</p>

<p>Smith had a nice freshman season for the Thunderbirds. He collected 51 tackles in nine games. He was a turnover machine registering three interceptions, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1623217' first='Briggs' last='Born'],</strong> LB, 5'9”, 175, Hill City, ‘28</p>

<p>Born finished with 43 tackles in eight games for Hill City. He also recorded three TFLs, two quarterback sacks, and one interception.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599228' first='Vohn' last='Williams'],</strong> LB, 6'0”, 180, Chaparral, ‘28</p>

<p>Williams played varsity football on both sides of the ball for the Roadrunners. In nine games, he finished with 40 tackles. On offense, he gained 146 yards rushing and made five receptions. He scored one touchdown on the ground.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1599229' first='Dallas' last='Gray'],</strong> DL, 5'11”, 190, Wichita Northwest, ‘28</p>

<p>The only big school athlete on this list played for the Northwest Grizzlies. Gray is a young defensive end who recorded 39 tackles as a freshman, six TFLs, and two quarterback sacks.</p>
