There are zero pass reps on this tape, but there are several run stops worth mentioning. 0:22 shows Chase making a potentially TD-saving tackle in the open field. Good stuff. At 0:42, Chase gets in on a gang tackle, while at 1:01, he makes a solid solo tackle on the running back post-hurdle. His special teams plays are also solid.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All in all, I need to see pass coverage reps to really judge him as a potential college prospect. Still, some of these highlights are extremely promising. Sater's tape opens with several pass coverage reps, which is something I really appreciate. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>0:29 is the first rep I'd like to mention. Sater, playing deep zone, perfectly follows the outside receiver to the middle of the field, tracks the football, and gets a hand on what was a pretty accurate pass. 0:40 is another excellent play as Sater quickly recognizes the RPO, jumps on the slant, and nearly breaks up the pass. To me, Sater looks like a smart safety, but I'd like to see a bit more explosiveness and overall athleticism. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>His run/screen defense highlights are quite good. At 0:56, Sater does an excellent job splitting the blockers and making the open-field tackle. 1:04 is another excellent example of attacking a quick pass to the boundary. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With great athletic testing numbers, Sater is a college prospect. Plays like 1:10 showcase an ability to keep eyes in the backfield, work against his block, and eventually get in on a tackle. Then, you have plays like 1:20 that show a great getoff and subsequent TFL. If every getoff was as quick and explosive as 1:20, Raymond would have a lot more TFLs on the season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Overall, Raymond does a good job keeping himself in the play, but he needs to work on shedding blocks and anchoring himself in place. There are far too many instances of Raymond being moved by the offensive line without a whole lot of work to stay put. I watch so many defenders who lack confidence and play very slow, but not Logan. Right off the bat, it's apparent that Logan has a habit of playing fast and confident. For instance, 0:30 shows a great blitz and QB pressure. 0:58 is another quick blitz, good block shed, and QB pressure resulting in an overthrow. Then, plays like 1:36 show a decent ability to scrape and fill rushing lanes. 2:02 shows the same- eyes in the backfield, scrape, and fill the inside running lane. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Great tape from Logan. I can tell he's a very high-effort player!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In the future, I'd love to see more sideline-to-sideline highlights plus better athleticism.
