In both positions, he is a good player who excels. At the offensive line position, he does a good job of firing off and blocking defensive players. He moves well and shows this off with his pulling ability. He does an excellent job of pulling and kicking on edge defenders. He also does a good job of moving his feet to stay in front of defenders. Then, as a defensive lineman, he shows a motor that never quits, and he is hard to move off his spot. As an offensive lineman, he has excellent blocking skills. He fires out of his stance quickly and does a good job driving defenders off the ball. As a defensive lineman, he shows off good strength, and moving off his spot is hard. He also has a motor that never quits. He showed a ton of potential as an offensive lineman. He has excellent fundamentals by having a good stance and start. He has good footwork and drives defenders off the ball well. He also does a good job in pass protection by moving his feet and staying in front of edge defenders. He does a great job firing off the ball to block defenders. He is excellent at pulling and kicking out defenders. LaVier has great strength and shows it off when he blocks a defensive lineman. He does a nice job of double-teaming defensive linemen and then peeling off to block a linebacker.
