Q1 Stock-Risers- 2025 Athletes

With the season concluded, we've updated our rankings. We didn't do a complete overhaul of the 2025 rankings, but there are still several players that made big moves. By their senior year, we usually move players to a specific position, but there are still some exciting players that could play both ways at the next level. Here, we break down the athletes that moved up in the final 2025 rankings.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">2025 Athlete Stock-Risers</h2>    To be honest, I'm still not sure whether I like Massey as a receiver or a corner. I lean towards him being a high-upside corner with established ball skills, just because those are harder to find for college coaches. He's a smart player with good length and athleticism. He'll need some technique refinement, but he had a strong senior season and that should endear him to college scouts.     Lindsey is a great power back and defensive lineman, but his best position may end up being at linebacker. He's a smart player who should be able to thrive against the run and learn quickly against the pass. He's extremely physical and loves to hit. I love that and his senior season proved to me that he's ready to play at the next level.     Jackson is the definition of an athlete, playing corner, safety, quarterback, running back, and has dabbled on special teams. He's *probably* a corner at the next level, but Hampton could decide to put the ball in his hands. The ball just has a way of finding him and we love the passion with which he plays.     [player_tooltip player_id='398248' first='Parker' last='Ludwick'] played a positionless role on defense, allowing him to roam and play matchups. He's a big hitter with a nose for the football. Sometimes living without a home on defense can be a home, but Ludwick is big enough, strong enough, fast enough, and smart enough to thrive there. I like him as a coverage outside linebacker at the next level, but he could also succeed as a safety. He's plenty physical and that will help him at the next level.     Likely a receiver at the next level, Williams is electric, and this is the first year he's really excelled at that position. Guys from Havelock are always underrecruited and Williams is no exception. He developed as a receiver this season, catching 83 passes for over 1,800 yards. As a testament to his versatility, that came a year after he ran for over 1,300 yards. With 16 receiving touchdowns, 11 rushing scores, and a punt return to the house, he was the most electric playmakers in the state this season.
