One of the best things about last Saturday's Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in Grants was the opportunity for prospects to boost their stock. Several players took advantage of the opportunity. Here are the breakout players from the event:

Joe Clawson, Grants: Clawson showed off his hops in the broad jump as he was one of the few players to leap over 9 feet. He's a two-way standout for Grants, rushing for over 300 yards on offense and making 77 tackles on defense in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1613476' first='Christian' last='Morales'], St. Pius X: Just a freshman, Morales was named Most Outstanding slot receiver at Saturday's Showcase. Morales already has two years of varsity experience under his belt. He has nice speed (runs the 40 in under 5.0 seconds, which is good for a freshman) and quickness. Posted one of the fastest times in the shuttle.

[player_tooltip player_id='854308' first='Isaiah' last='Ortega'], Grants: Voted Best Outside Receiver at Saturday's Showcase. Ortega has soft hands and runs crisp routes. Made 29 receptions for 513 yards as a junior in 2024.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248672' first='Hugh' last='Pena'], Cleveland: Pena is a promising linebacker for the Storm. Played mainly JV in 2024. Should contribute on to the varsity in 2025. Good size and mobility. Able to cover in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672398' first='Saul' last='Peregrina'], West Mesa: Good size at 6-foot-0, 250 pounds. Made 17 tackles with 2.0 TFL and 4 QB hurries for the Mustangs varsity in 2024. Showed Saturday he could become a major contributor to the West Mesa defense in 2025.

[player_tooltip player_id='1548456' first='Matthew' last='Stagman'], Rio Rancho: The No. 2 WR job for the Rams is wide open, and Stagman showed he could be a serious contender for the spot. Able to leap and catch the ball at its highest point. Broad jump was close to 9 feet.

Colter Willis, Snowflake (AZ): Among a group of players from Snowflake High School in Arizona, Willis impressed with his pass catching skills and good speed and quickness for a sophomore.
