COMPLETE RANKINGS: https://prepredzone.com/washington/rankings/2027-watch-list/

[player_tooltip player_id='1214493' first='Petrah' last='Mackenzie'] 5-10 220 LB Moses Lake

From a pure talent standpoint Mackenzie is one of the best in the state for his class. Over the last two seasons he has made 125 tackles with 5 tackles for loss, earning 2nd team all-conference honors as a sophomore. From a projection standpoint it just comes down to size.

[player_tooltip player_id='1369676' first='Chance' last='Savini'] 6-0 225 LB Kentwood

Savini went down in week 5 with an injury for the year. That said as him and 2027 teammate [player_tooltip player_id='584705' first='Adonai' last='Ve'e'] will be listed as one of Washington's top LB duos. In limited games Savini averaged 10 tackles per contest (43 total), with 2 sacks, and 2 TFL's.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530877' first='Tyallen' last='Edmon'] 6-1 200 LB Skyview

The 2nd team all GSHL LB led the Storm in tackles among their elite trio of sophomore backers. He finished the year with 72 tackles, 5 TFL's, and 4 sacks and could climb this list quick.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599696' first='Amacyn' last='Savelio'] 6-3 250 DL Timberline

Savelio stood out on the defensive front for the Blazers earning 2nd team all-conference honors. Timberline's 1-8 record on the year made it tough for any of their athletes to receive all league accolades, which makes his recognition that much more impressive, especially as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530872' first='Jordan' last='Noel'] 5-11 170 DB Kennedy Catholic

I wouldn't be surprised to see Noel end up ranked among the top 20 players statewide when all is said and done. The very versatile overall athlete went for 485 total yards and 5 TDs on offense, while putting up some of the top defensive numbers in the state with 7 INTs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599654' first='Braydon' last='Cook'] 6-3 220 DE Olympia

Cook was a 2nd team all SPSL selection as a sophomore, finishing with 42 tackles, 9 TFL's, and 4 sacks. He brings legit size to the table and will be listed among WA's top DE/OLB's. He's another athlete who could fly up this list.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599622' first='Noah' last='Cruse-Ross'] 6-2 200 DE/OLB Union

The sophomore earned 2nd team all GSHL honors on the D line for a Union squad that went 2-7. There were three other seniors who earned all-league recognition for the Titans, along with Cruse-Ross. Look for Coach Steve Pyne to get this program turned around in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599659' first='Micco' last='Colyer'] 5-9 160 CB Gig Harbor

Colyer was a 1st team all NPSL pick as a sophomore, finishing with 27 tackles and 2 TFLs on the year. He will lock up his side of the field and force opposing teams to throw elsewhere.

[player_tooltip player_id='1563429' first='Sawyer' last='Sommerville'] 5-10 165 Chiawana

Sommerville was a 2nd team all-league selection as a sophomore grabbing multiple INTs. He will team with freshman standout [player_tooltip player_id='1615830' first='Cooper' last='Cissne'], who earned 1st team all-league honors at DB, to give Chiawana an elite pair of returning Washington defensive backs heading into next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599604' first='Keelan' last='Thomas'] 5-11 225 DL O'Dea

The sophomore standout is undersized for the position but was key for the Irish up front earning honorable mention all-conference honors. He will be a big factor for O'Dea next year as they look to repeat.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599632' first='Jeremiah' last='Leumuava'] 5-8 240 DL Graham Kapowsin

One of the state's breakout sophomore's earning 1st team all-league honors. Leumuava brings unique size to the position playing on the D line. That said as he was one of WA's top defenders for the 2027 class, making 18 tackles with 8 TFL's and 2 sacks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1599627' first='Carter' last='Huntley'] 6-0 155 DB Kelso

Huntley was one of only two sophomores in the 3A GSHL to earn all-conference accolades. He will be one of the top dual threat athletes in SW Washington next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1605543' first='Daesean' last='Toomer'] 6-2 165 DB Federal Way

Toomer has great size especially for a young DB. He was one of the only sophomore's to earn NPSL all conference honors, as a 2nd team selection. The Eagles finished 8-2 on the year.
