Reid is a 2026 newcomer at wide receiver that intrigued me in multiple ways prior to this rankings release. His instincts pop out almost immediately on tape as his change of direction on his breaks shows off excellent seperation ability off the break which constantly gives Reid plenty of space in the open field. I have also gathered after minutes of tape on this young man, that he has some of the best hands in the state amongst this wide receiver 2026 group. The 6'1 170 pounder from MLS, is our second highest debut checking in right inside our top 25 overall and WR4 in the class. Excited to see what this young man can show off on the camp circuit this summer.

Another addition to this 2026 class at quarterback is West Fargo's [player_tooltip player_id='1590674' first='Reed' last='Kurzweg']. What shows me the upside, is how quick Reed shows to be outside of the pocket with his quick release usually throwing from the run. Even from the run, you can tell how balanced his touch throws on intermediate routes appear to be as too that he has even more arm talent at his disposal that you can surely see in a clean pocket. Reed shows off sound precision too on those intermediate routes and despite the constant pressure, I have to say I am impressed with the poise this young man shows off as one that I could see as a stockriser in this grouping.

Jaxon is a very long wide receiver that we really like the upside to grow in this 2026 class. For his size, I was impressed with the athleticism he showed off with his release as one that I feel there is still some upside to make it even more instinctive. His length of his strides gets seen quickly in the open field as he shows off as one that can finish with that consistent quickness from start to finish. Jaxon also plays in my eyes with a growing finesse the deeper he gets in the red zone as surely a WR prospect I would love to see him on the gridiron on Saturdays.

Zade is another 2026 newcomer as an athlete that shows off great vision on both sides of the ball. He might not be the biggest athlete on the field, but Zade shows off intriguing instincts and consistently shows off a suddenness with his release points straight and to the point of the ball carrier. I also like his balanced pursuit angles that he has when he makes contact, as there is a quick trigger that Zade shows off on every rep that you want out of your defensive back. He is a defensive back that plays with a bigger presence than the measurables show off and still has intriguing upside yet to grow as a ball-tracker.

If you are looking for cornerback length in this 2026 class, you might want to look at Red River's [player_tooltip player_id='1556578' first='Sekou' last='Bility']. You will see that the 6'1 185 pounder brings you versatility in pass coverage with his long arms, as one that excels in 1v1 coverage and I believe is a harder hitter than he might get credit for. He also has an upside to grow into his senior season with his change of direction, as a corner that surely is rangy but I see even more depth with COD getting back to the ball as a quicker speed. Surely looks like a next-level prospect in my eyes.

In what is a deep 2026 class for wide receivers, we meet another newcomer in Bismarck St. Mary's [player_tooltip player_id='1590681' first='Brady' last='Ruggles']. Brady has one of the more wirey route-runners we will find in this grouping of newcomers and shows it off in a multitude of ways. He shows off the versatility to be a deep threat all the way down to being a short-yardage getter for first downs. Brady is another that I feel has upside to grow his depth with his agile movement, as you see what's there for him on his first clips on tape with getting seperation.

The Magi still have some firepower in their backfield incoming as 2026 running back [player_tooltip player_id='1590640' first='Blake' last='Anderson'] takes the reigns, as a newcomer to our 2026 rankings and Minot High's new RB1. Watching Blake in the their game against 11AAA state champion, West Fargo Sheyenne he showed off excellent vision against one of the top defenses in the state as his one-cut ability also showed off the athleticism and burst this young man can get at the second level. The 5'11 195 pounder is also the Magi's middle linebacker and one that you can quickly gauge the two-way upside there is on tape. Blake I could surely see as a two-way athlete that could do some damage in 11AAA next season and I like the football IQ he has to play on Saturdays.
