40. [player_tooltip player_id='913904' first='Brent' last='Gordon Jr.'] — 5-11, 175 DB — Cecilia

Another bump for the Bulldogs' star after a second straight all-state season. The Louisiana (Lafayette) signee is a hyper-productive tackle machine at safety with great ball skills and man coverage skills that often get overlooked because of his gaudy tackle numbers and nose for the ball. Gordon finished with 144 tackles as a senior, including 100 solo stops and five for loss, and racked up five interceptions, seven pass break-ups and seven fumbles. He also caught 33 passes for 569 yards and 12 touchdowns to help lead Cecilia's first state championship since 1995 as one of the hard-nosed, competitive leaders in what will go down as a historic senior class for the program.

39. [player_tooltip player_id='914092' first='Davian' last='Jackson'] — 6-2, 170 ATH — Westgate

The Tigers' latest SEC signee, "Diamond" is a thickly built, speedy athlete who excelled primarily as a versatile offensive weapon during his high school career, but has also shown some intriguing potential as a defensive back. Jackson brings 4.47-second 40-yard and 10.73-second 100-meter long speed to Mississippi State, who has announced him as a wide receiver to start his college career, though he has appeared to be at his best with the ball in his hands out of the backfield or in the quick screen game.

38. [player_tooltip player_id='291090' first='Brandon' last='Henderson'] — 6-0, 170 ATH — Woodlawn (Shreveport)

The Knights' multisport star is both one of the smoothest, most fluid athletes in Louisiana's 2025 class and one of its top remaining unsigned prospects. Henderson will be a defensive back or wide receiver at the next level where his quickness, vertical speed and ball skills were on display much of his high school career, but he also stepped into the backfield as a senior to provide a spark for the Woodlawn offense and showcased his elusiveness with the ball in his hands. As a senior, he finished with 50 tackles, 10 interceptions, 445 rushing yards, 230 receiving yards and 4-for-4 passing.

37. [player_tooltip player_id='1214126' first='Witten' last='Van Hoy'] — 6-7, 305 OL — Benton

One of a pair of TCU offensive linemen in Louisiana's 2025 Top 50, the son of former Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Chris Van Hoy is a tall true tackle prospect with long arms and good quickness and mobility to beat edge rushers' angles or maneuver in space — whether getting upfield, locating and engaging defenders in the run game or outside in front of screens or keeping active to protect his mobile quarterback.

36. [player_tooltip player_id='1214132' first='Ferzell' last='Shepard'] — 6-2, 175 WR — Scotlandville

The Mississippi State commitment boasts an impressive athletic profile, including his role as a state champion triple-jumper for Scotlandville's perennial power track program. Shepard's tall frame, explosiveness, springy leap and speed have had high-level programs, including hometown LSU, intrigued during the course of his recruitment, and his best football figures to be ahead of him once he gets locked in with college strength and technical coaching.

35. [player_tooltip player_id='291085' first='Tyron' last='Winslow'] — 6-4, 275 DL — H.L. Bourgeois

Winslow was a leader on and off the field for a Braves program for which he and his classmates provided some much needed spark and positive momentum after being mired in one- and two-win seasons much of the past decade. The big defensive tackle, who played both ways during his high school career, is a handful inside with smooth athleticism in the trenches, a good motor in his pursuit and great work ethic and all-around intangibles. Winslow signed with SMU in December in a nice recruiting win for the Mustangs to nab a Louisiana prospect who had been offered by a slew of notable programs, including Missouri, Houston and Louisiana (Lafayette).

34. [player_tooltip player_id='145357' first='Lennis' last='Finister Jr.'] — 6-0, 170 DB — Archbishop Rummel

One of Prep Redzone Louisiana's top-ranked defensive backs the entirety of his high school career, Finister remains one of the state's top available prospects for a college to get a late addition to its 2025 class. The smart, instinctive corner pairs quick athleticism with a patient approach, players well in physical coverage and has a knack for well-timed and sure-handed plays on balls thrown to his side of the field.

33. [player_tooltip player_id='915064' first='Lionel' last='Prudhomme'] — 6-3, 290 OL — Captain Shreve

Prudhomme was one of the stars of a potent, program record-setting Gators offense from his role as an explosive lineman with a nasty physicality to his blocking and the athleticism to be used as a ball-carrier and pass-catcher near the goal line. The two-way trenches playmaker during his high school career ultimately signed with Arkansas this winter out of a long list of college options and projects as a likely interior lineman for the Razorbacks.

32. [player_tooltip player_id='426963' first='Warren' last='Roberts'] — 6-3, 220 EDGE — St. Augustine

Another climb for the Tulane signee who continued his development into a disruptive force off the edge this fall as a senior. Roberts racked up 50 tackles in his final high school season, including 25 for loss and 11 sacks, plus three fumble recoveries and an interception — with one each returned for a touchdown — all in one of the most competitive districts in Class 5A with a track record for producing college offensive lineman. His explosiveness, closing speed and nose for the ball are all among the best in the state in a solid overall class of defensive linemen.

31. [player_tooltip player_id='1331262' first='Kenneth' last='Boston'] — 6-8, 330 OL — River Oaks

The big lineman went from under-the-radar prospect to SEC commit in a matter of a couple weeks early last summer as he hit the camp circuit. Boston possesses size and physicality that pop off the roster listing and the highlight film, but he's also shown flashes of good athleticism from a three-sport background to a long scoop-and-score early this fall that garnered attention on social media as the biggest player on the field ran his way nearly goal line-to-goal line for the touchdown. The transition from small private school in north Monroe to the SEC will be a leap that may take some time, but Boston possesses intriguing potential.
