February Small College Recruiting Fairs
There is no getting around the fact that the transfer portal has indeed cut into football recruiting in this country.
Colleges and universities that needed to fill their rosters in the past are finding it tougher now that prospects are switching schools at an alarming rate.
While there are still many scholarships and financial assistance programs still available, families now need to be more proactive in the process.
No more are things automatic in this process, and that is why knowing about how to seek help is perhaps more important than any time in recruiting.
Dwight Thomas has been around football for seven decades – as a player, coach and someone who helps players, coaches and families learn about where we are in 2025.
Thomas, who is part of the team at Catapult, has been at the cutting edge of providing exposure with firsthand evaluations, and with the help of high school coaches in the state have Florida, has kept the annual Small College Recruiting Fairs alive – even during the tougher times.
