2028 De Smet TE [player_tooltip player_id='1294184' first='Ridge' last='Janes'] (6'5" 225) picked up his first offer almost 9 months ago and has the most offers of any Missouri freshman currently. His most recent and 7th offer overall came this past week from the Purdue Boilermakers and new head coach Barry Odom. His stock will continue to rise in the off season and heading into his second year of varsity ball.

Kirksville LB [player_tooltip player_id='1598516' first='Blake' last='Nesbitt'] (6'3" 215) landed his first offer last week from the University of Houston. The playmaking defender had 100 tackles in his first varsity season and picked up post season offers at that position as well as tight end. The #5 ranked player in the recent PRZ 2028 ranking is on the radar of multiple colleges early.

Arkansas decided it was time to enter what will be a race for Lee's Summit West OL Brock Burrows (6'3" 270) this week as schools made Missouri freshman a priority early with coaches out on the road looking at players. The versatile Barrows can play every position along the offensive line and the #6 ranked player in the recent PRZ 2028 rankings will be checking out several colleges whose radar he is on already. His recruitment will continue to climb.

Another top 10 ranked PRZ member who was among the 2028 offers this past week was De Smet CB [player_tooltip player_id='1221278' first='Kolby' last='Dotson'] (5'11" 160) who landed his first D1 offer from Miami (OH) University. The young lockdown cornerback prospect made an impact on varsity as freshman showing the skills to be able to line up against experienced upperclassmen and the potential to be a future D1 prospect.

Miami (OH) University liked what it saw of the De Smet freshman class in their recent visit there and offered the (6'2" 220) EDGE prospect [player_tooltip player_id='1289288' first='Tyson' last='Senseney'] his first D1 offer. Tyson has one of the quickest first steps and an explosive get off and motor. He first caught my attention as an 8th grader and you could tell then that he has the potential of prospect on the rise who colleges would need to keep an eye on. Look for his recruiting profile to continue to increase this spring and summer.

The third De Smet Spartan freshman to pick up an offer from Miami University this week was DL [player_tooltip player_id='1609281' first='Ty' last='Veltrop'] (6'2" 231) who landed his first D1 offer from the Redhawks. Veltrop is another high motor defensive line prospect who is athletic and strong. He and Senseney played on the same 8th grade team along with Janes, So it was no surprise they won their league's championship.
