2025 Rankings Update- New Dominant DL Additions

Sanford is quick off the snap, overwhelms offensive tackles with his speed and strength, and can easily pursue and close in on the run and quarterback every snap. Sanford is extremely effective against the run and as a pass rusher-it's really impressive watching how he uses his size and athleticism to rack up plays behind the line of scrimmage. Sanford had his best year yet last season, ending the year with 86 solo tackles (45 solo, 23 for loss), 7 sacks, 4 hurries, and one interception. Gordon is extremely versatile and plays with a ton of effort- he fights off blocks to get to the ball carrier, is extremely quick to recognize and react to plays, and is excellent at setting the edge against the run. Gordon also is a reliable pass rusher- he uses his quickness, strength, and violent hands to beat offensive linemen and generate pressure/take down the quarterback. It was really impressive watching Gordon's senior tape, he's come a long way as a player and made a ton of plays throughout his career. Gordon had one of the best years of his career this past season, be sure to watch his tape below! Tims was a destructive force on the interior- he plays with an unreal amount of strength, power, and effort every snap, consistently leading to huge plays for loss in the backfield. Tims is extremely reliable as a pass rusher- he has a dominant bull rush, generates tons of pressure from inside, and consistently has the chance to collapse the pocket and wrap up the quarterback every passing down. Tims is also a monster against the run- he eats up so much space, is a terrific tackler, and doesn't allow for any lanes to open on his side of the line. Tims was incredibly productive this season, ending the year with over 100 tackles, 15 sacks, and 15 tackles for loss. With production like that, Tims has picked up offers from Mississippi Valley State, Tuskegee, and plenty of others. Hinson was a force against the run- he found ways to beat his man and quickly get into the backfield every down, consistently wrapping up and taking down running backs for tackles for loss. It's also impressive watching how physical of a player Hinson is- he does a great job fighting off blocks and pursuing after the ball carrier no matter where he initially lines up pre-snap. It was really impressive watching Hinson's tape from this past year, he's come a long way as a prospect. Wright is an explosive defensive end capable of making game-changing plays every snap. Wright is extremely quick, plays with great leverage, and has a ton of power that allows him to completely dominate a wide variety of offensive linemen. It doesn't matter if opposing offenses are attempting to run or pass- Wright reacts within seconds and will find a way to impact the play. It's extremely impressive how well rounded of a player Wright has been, especially last year- he's a dominant defensive end with an extremely bright future.
