Earlier this month, we announced the ten finalists for our 2024 Prep Redzone Oklahoma Player Of The Year award. Earlier this week, we announced the winner of that award. The day after we announced the finalists, we also released a poll where people could vote on who they think was the best player in Oklahoma for 2024. And after several weeks of voting, Tuttle senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='215570' first='Brady' last='McAdoo'] won that award with nearly 50 percent of the vote. He beat out Washington tight end [player_tooltip player_id='353411' first='Nate' last='Roberts'] and Vian running back [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] to win the Fan's Vote.

McAdoo earned his spot as a finalist after a stellar senior season. The Tuttle senior would finish with nearly 800 yards and 16 touchdowns on 38 catches. He also added five rushing touchdowns in short yardage situations. McAdoo was also a special teams demon with four punt returns for touchdowns and he was also one of the state's best punters, even though Tuttle didn't punt the ball very often. Defensively, McAdoo would total nearly 50 tackles and a pair of interceptions from the secondary.

McAdoo helped guide the Tigers to a 13-1 season and a Class 4A Runner Up finish in the state championship game against Elgin. McAdoo emerged to us very early on in his career. He played multiple positions from the start and was very clearly one of the best players on the field, every time he stepped on the field. McAdoo settled into his spot as a dynamic wide receiver and we've said this before but it deserves to be repeated here. There might not be another player in the state that is a more underrated athlete than McAdoo. And this is the part where we say more schools should have jumped on McAdoo already but he's going to have a very successful career at the next level.

McAdoo was dominant every single week and he was one of a handful of players that found himself on our weekly "Top Performer" feature on a regular basis. It didn't matter who the opponent was, McAdoo was always finding a way to impact the game in a major way. And the Tuttle standout has a pretty good following and the Tuttle community came out to support in a major way as McAdoo ran away with the fan's vote for 2024 Player Of The Year.
