With all the talent still on the board, I wanted to start an “Uncommitted Senior Series” to highlight 2025 prospects still going through their recruiting process. These are players who I think have the potential to produce at the next level and can fill out any recruiting needs for your team.

We entered the season knowing Noah was a stud at RB, but he turned it up a notch on the defensive side this year. Bordovsky had a lockdown year playing cornerback on the top defense in Class C1, as he finished the season with 38 tackles, three TFLs, two interceptions, and a forced fumble. The Wahoo back also finished second on the team with 788 rushing yards, 18 rushing touchdowns, and averaged 7.7 yards per carry. Noah is a super tough player who can power through weak arm tackles while displaying excellent contact balance. He does a great job running north-south but also has the vision and cutback ability to bounce runs to the outside. Solid burst when hitting his gap. I also liked how his physicality spilled over to the defensive side of the ball. Noah is a very willing tackler who can help in run support. Championship-caliber player who can bring a winning attitude to any program.

I know the Pioneers had to have been happy to get their talented big man back on the offensive line this season. After suffering a season-ending injury last season, senior [player_tooltip player_id='736125' first='Colton' last='Miles'] returned this year and was a key cog in a great Fort Calhoun offense. Colton projects very well as a guard at the collegiate level with solid size at 6'3" and 260 pounds while possessing the athleticism to make every block asked of him. Colton's speed and athleticism are especially evident in pulling plays where he shows nice burst and acceleration when rounding the corner, with the power to explode through defenders. He's very physical at the point of attack and consistently finishes his blocks in the dirt. Good footwork and balance through his blocks. Colton holds offers from Midland, Morningside, Mount Marty, Capital, Northwestern College, Hastings College, and McPherson College.

Although the Minutemen's season didn't go as planned, there was still a bright spot in the outstanding play of RB [player_tooltip player_id='1209236' first='Cesar' last='Cano']. During his senior campaign, Cesar capped off his prep career with 1,200 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns while posting a team-high 81 tackles, three blocked kicks, and a forced fumble on defense. Cesar is one of the more under-the-radar backs in this class despite showing a very well-rounded skill set. He runs with a solid mix of speed and power, showing the toughness to power through tackle attempts and the twitch to make defenders miss in the open field. Cesar has great vision and flashes good anticipation for opening lanes while following his blocks downfield. A solid burst through his gap and great acceleration make him a threat to break free for long gains on any given run. There is lots of upside defensively, as well. Hungry player who can help boost a RB room at the next level.

Bennington DL [player_tooltip player_id='1059047' first='Tysen' last='Fleischman'] quietly had a very productive junior year and was able to build on that with an even bigger senior campaign. Fleishman ended the year with 60 tackles. 15 TFLs, nine sacks, three forced fumbles, two blocked kicks, and returned a fumble for a touchdown. Tysen is a lengthy, lean defensive lineman who displays nice explosiveness coming off the ball and plays with a tireless pursuit. He does a great job using his lengthy reach to create separation from blockers and uses his hands very well to block linemen from getting inside his frame. Tysen is also an asset against the run, showing that he can hold the edge very well and can shut down outside runs going his way. Stud who is only starting to chip away at his potential!

Omaha Westview's [player_tooltip player_id='1575501' first='Desmond' last='Goodwin'] is a player who jumped onto our radar this season boasting next-level measurables and solid senior tape. There weren't a ton of targets headed Goodwin's way, but he did make the most of his opportunities with the ball, showing nice playmaking ability after the catch with 140 yards on only four receptions (35 yards/catch). His strong, solid frame makes him a reliable target over the middle of the field, where he's shown that he can hang on to the ball through contact. Goodwin also showed some nice blocking chops, flashing high upside as an in-line tight end with the physicality and strength to dominate as a run blocker. Morningside is the first team to extend an offer to the Wolverine's tight end, and I expect many more to follow suit.

Talk about a small-town gem! Hay Springs' [player_tooltip player_id='1575498' first='Talan' last='Smith'] is one of the under-the-radar stars in the 6-man ranks and continued to flash his high upside with a very productive senior season. Smith recorded 112 tackles, 24 TFLs, 10 sacks, and three forced fumbles. Watching his tape, it's clear to see the physical, aggressive edge that he plays with. Talan is listed as a defensive end, but with his size, athleticism, and length, I expect him to get some looks as an OLB/EDGE defender. Smith does a good job using his length and physicality at the point of attack, allowing him to break down attempts to block him while possessing the speed and pursuit to track down the ball carrier. There is still some raw ability to work out with a transition to 11-man football, but the high ceiling is absolutely there!

Here's a player due for a massive stock bump in the upcoming rankings update. Sidney's [player_tooltip player_id='1060783' first='Landon' last='Riddle'] was back at it, making plays on offense, defense, and special teams for the Red Raiders. Landon surpassed the 1,000-yard mark with 59 catches for 1,032 yards and 10 touchdowns while posting 39 tackles and four interceptions on defense. Riddle is a natural playmaker who can use his speed and explosiveness to come up with game-changing plays at a moment's notice. Landon flashes as a savvy route runner who can easily create separation from defenders and understands how to exploit zone coverage. Very good at the catch point with strong hands and excellent concentration to make difficult catches where he has to adjust his body or fight through contact. Riddle is very instinctive in coverage with natural ball-hawking abilities that seem to guide him to the ball on nearly every play. Good range, 38" vertical jump, and an 11.03 100m dash. He currently holds one offer from Midland... big-time steal!
