Our Prep Redzone Carolinas Stock Up Showcase was a huge success. Over the next few days we'll have scouting reports on every player in attendance. First, I wanted to break down some of the top performers in a different way.

The offensive line group in attendance on Sunday was the smallest. Let's break them all down with a different accolade for each.

Stock Up Showcase Top Offensive Linemen

The Young Gun: [player_tooltip player_id='1506630' first='DP' last='Jordan'], Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach

Offensive line is the most challenging position to pick up early in high school. There's usually an extended learning curve that doesn't apply to other positions, but Jordan easily kept up with the older players. He already has ideal size for the offensive line and looks like a future standout left tackle. He moved well and his footwork was solid. He's technically-sound and while I didn't get to see every drill, he seemed to pick each up with ease.

Footwork King: [player_tooltip player_id='1581465' first='Zachary' last='Wilson'], Harding

Wilson is another promising young blocker. His height will probably keep him on the interior and his footwork there was fantastic. His explosiveness was evident in testing and when we got to drills, he was at the top of the group when it came to his lower body. He was always balanced, and his feet are incredibly quick for his size. As he continues to bulk up, he has the lower body to be a high-level guard.

Best Run Blocker: [player_tooltip player_id='1295662' first='Matthew' last='Atkinson'], West Ashley

The fact that Atkinson is better run blocker than pass blocker right now should excite college coaches. That's because he has the body to be a stalwart right tackle in the passing game, with a good base and enormous wingspan. But his bread and butter is his ability to displace people in the running game. While he didn't get many opportunities to do that in a camp setting, his run blocking ability was evident the minute they began drills. His lower body is powerfully-built and he has good leg drive.

Best Pass Blocker: [player_tooltip player_id='1110005' first='Cody' last='Peterson'], Ashley Ridge

Peterson's flexibility shocked me. The linemen warmed up with several drills designed to get them moving on a cold day, squating and getting in and out of stances repeatedly. Peterson moved with ease, showing excellent balance in drills designed to test movement. That translated to one-on-ones, where he proved himself a brick wall in pass blocking. He plays inside for Ashley Ridge, but I think he has the size, technique, and skill to move out to left tackle. I'll be interested to see if that's what happens as a senior.
