Whether it was getting in on assisted tackles or making solo stops, Powers was always near the football. His vision, paired with his physicality, made him an invaluable asset to his team's defense, as he constantly found himself in the right place at the right time. A true playmaker, Powers' ability to cause disruption was a key component of Montrose's defensive success, and his presence on the field elevated everyone around him.

Smith proved to be a versatile defensive force for Berthoud High School, racking up 116 total tackles, seven-and-a-half tackles for loss, four interceptions, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. His ability to drop into coverage and come away with interceptions showcased his solid hands and exceptional awareness, making him a dual-threat linebacker who could handle both the run and the pass. Smith had a knack for meeting ball carriers in the backfield, frequently causing disruption and forcing offenses to adjust. His all-around skill set and ability to make game-changing plays cemented his reputation as one of the most dynamic players in the region. With his instincts and athleticism, Smith will undoubtedly be a player to watch next year, as he continues to develop into an even more dangerous weapon for his team.

Craver made his presence felt on Pomona's defense this season with 113 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, one sack, and one forced fumble. A linebacker who thrives in the trenches, Craver demonstrated his ability to play downhill, meeting runners at the point of contact with force and precision. He showed a great knack for timing his hits, often attacking the hole before ball carriers could find space, and was reliable when called upon to bring down the quarterback. Craver's relentless motor and sharp vision allowed him to fly around the field and react quickly to plays, making him a disruptive force on every down. His consistent production and ability to impact games at or behind the line of scrimmage solidify his role as a key piece for Pomona's defense.

Juarez brought an electric energy to Eaton's defense, finishing the year with 112 total tackles, one sack, and one fumble recovery. Known for his sideline-to-sideline play, Juarez showed an incredible ability to cover ground quickly and insert himself into the action wherever it occurred. His high motor and relentless pursuit of the football made him a catalyst for Eaton, often shifting the momentum of games with his playmaking ability. Juarez's speed and vision allowed him to anticipate plays and disrupt opposing offenses, consistently putting his team in advantageous positions. As a player with a knack for making big stops in crucial moments, Juarez has set the stage to become a standout presence in the years ahead.

Flowers was a dominant force for Buena Vista High School, posting 111 total tackles, an impressive 13 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one forced fumble. Living in the backfield, Flowers showcased his ability to shed blocks with ease and wreak havoc on opposing offenses. His quick first step and sharp instincts allowed him to consistently disrupt plays before they could develop, whether it was taking down the quarterback or blowing up runs. Flowers' vision and relentless pursuit of the ball made him a constant threat, and his ability to impact the game on nearly every snap elevated Buena Vista's defense. With his consistent production and ability to rise to the occasion in big moments, Flowers proved to be an irreplaceable asset to his team this season.

Loya was a cornerstone for Mullen's defense, finishing with 110 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. A quick and instinctive linebacker, Loya excelled at diagnosing plays, particularly screens, and blowing them up before they could gain traction. His ability to shoot gaps and take on blocks made him a reliable presence in the middle of the defense, as he consistently disrupted plays at the point of attack. Loya's physicality and knack for getting off blocks gave him the ability to create opportunities for his teammates while anchoring the defense himself. As he heads into his senior season, Loya's skill set and potential for growth position him as a breakout candidate to watch, making him one of the most intriguing linebackers heading into next year.
