Region 2: Top c/o 27 QB's This Season

With the 2024 season coming to an end, I'm doing a postseason analysis for Quarterback prospects from every Classification/District/Region in Florida. There are a lot of young talented prospects and several sleeper prospects that could start getting looks for the next level. Joaquin Kavouklis- Tarpon Springs High    6'2 185lbs    Kavouklis possesses the arm talent to make every throw at all 3-levels, demonstrates impressive footwork and mechanics, and displays poise and confidence.   STATS: 165-of-270, 2,404 yards, 61% completion, 21 touchdowns.     2. Carter Nunes- Freeport High    6'0 150lbs    Nunes shows a very strong arm and can make all the throws necessary. He displays athleticism, accurately throwing on the run, and possesses a good sense of the pass rush.   STATS: 126-of-243, 1,805 yards, 52% completion, 17 touchdowns.     3. Hayden Gay– Bozeman High    5'8    Gay displays good accuracy and can make all the throws necessary to be an effective quarterback. He is a smart player who reads coverages and knows where to go with the football.   STATS: 104-of-178, 1,631 yards, 58% completion, 18 touchdowns.     4. [player_tooltip player_id='895770' first='JD' last='Brown']– South Walton High    6'2 180lbs   Brown is a player with high upside, showing good short and intermediate accuracy, and processing coverages quickly.   STATS: 148-of-245, 1,592 yards, 60% completion, 12 touchdowns.     5. [player_tooltip player_id='1672994' first='Landon' last='Dougherty']- Gadsden County High    6'5 180lbs   Dougherty possesses prototypical measurables, impressively gets through his progressions quickly, and is very confident with a gunslinger mentality.   STATS: 78-of-115, 1,450 yards, 68% completion, 17 touchdowns.     6. Lucas Ruan- Tampa Catholic    6'0 170lbs   Ruan can maneuver in the pocket and buy time with his feet, and he has the arm to push the ball down the field. Ruan will continue to improve and is a player to keep an eye on.   STATS: 126-of-216, 1,444 yards, 58% completion, 13 touchdowns.     7. [player_tooltip player_id='1157494' first='Cooper' last='Hayes']- Berkeley Prep    6'1 185lbs   Hayes flashes the ability to throw accurately at all three levels of the field; he shows good feel and presence in the pocket and has the ability to readjust his feet and throw downfield with touch and ball placement.   STATS: 83-of-146, 1,342 yards, 57% completion, 13 touchdowns.     8. Jonathan Walker- Gulliver Prep    5'10 150lbs   Walker shows impressive ball placement and timing; his intelligence allows him to speed up his processing, delivering strikes to short and intermediate areas.   STATS: 79-of-127, 1,052 yards, 62% completion, 8 touchdowns.
