PRZAR 2028 Rankings Update - Rising Freshmen

<p>These prospects continue to rise in our newest rankings for the class of 2028 in Arkansas. They truly impressed our staff and made their stamp in 2024 as we delve into our analysis below:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1396655' first='Zane' last='Hathcock'] has risen to the number one position in his group. He demonstrates a good anchor against power and bull rushers in his jump, vertical, and 45 pass sets. His skills include good hand timing, hand strength, and hand placement, complemented by good foot quickness, balance, and core strength, allowing him to anchor and control his opponents. Hathcock also shows good initial quickness in his pass sets, enabling him to set up quickly and mirror defensive linemen, due to his good lateral agility, footwork, balance, and awareness. Defensively, he displays good fluidity, change of direction, and balance, along with good read and reaction to stay inside the hip pocket of receivers on breaks, not allowing room for separation over the middle and toward the boundary. His IQ and awareness allow him to jump routes. Offensively, Jaime is a smooth route runner with good hand-eye coordination, body control, and strong hands to adjust mid-route and catch from his frame or win vs contest. His ability to transition and keep up with his opponent vertically is impressive, due to his solid foot speed. He displays good change of direction and read/react ability, allowing him to stay inside the hip pocket of his opponent and prevent any separation during breaks. Additionally, he has a good touch, allowing him to layer the football over second-level defenders. This allows him to effectively intercept the ball from the edge or contain the play. He possesses solid lower-body strength and power, enabling him to disrupt both the run and pass by driving back the offensive linemen to create pressure.
