We had a great time checking out some of the top talent in Nebraska and Iowa at yesterday's Stock Up Showcase in Council Bluffs. Throughout the showcase, the Prep Redzone crew was busy taking notes and evaluating the players in attendance. After reviewing the tape and notes, I am excited to start coverage of this event with a few standout players who caught my attention.

Here are five of my standouts from yesterday's PRZ NE/IA Stock Up Showcase:

[player_tooltip player_id='1234332' first='Jermaine' last='Robinson'] (Twitter), 2026 - WR/DB - Cedar Rapids Jefferson - 5'10" 165 lbs

One of the fastest attendees yesterday, CR Jefferson's [player_tooltip player_id='1234332' first='Jermaine' last='Robinson'], showed out big time on offense and defense. Although Robinson may not be the biggest target, he is extremely quick and has great top-end speed, which allows him to stretch the field vertically. He does a great job tracking the deep ball and can adjust his body very well when trying to get under the pass. Robinson also displayed great twitch and a sharp change of direction that allows him to run a very diverse route tree. This shiftiness also made him very tough for a lot of the DBs in attendance to defend, displaying a great use of stems and crafty footwork to create separation from defenders. Lot of potential as a slot receiver. Very impressive showing for the J-Hawk's junior!

[player_tooltip player_id='1581457' first='Nathan' last='Christensen'] (Twitter), 2026 - DB/WR - Skutt Catholic

Skutt Catholic's Nate Christensen followed up a great state championship performance with an eye-opening camp showing yesterday. Christensen was wreaking havoc on both sides of the ball, using his speed to torch DBs on offense and his top-tier instincts to lock down receivers on defense. Although I don't have official numbers back, I wouldn't be surprised if Nate finished at or near the top in each of the combine drills. Offensively, Nate flashes smooth and speedy route running with the ability to create separation from defenders. He has strong reliable hands that made him nearly automatic when throwing his way. He showed he could win the underneath routes and challenge defenses vertically. On defense, Christensen's speed and fluidity allowed him to stay strapped to the opposing receiver's hip while also flashing great ball skills at the catch point. We will definitely be keeping a close eye on Nate this offseason— buy stock now!

[player_tooltip player_id='533092' first='Zion' last='Rush'] (Twitter), 2026 - QB - Millard North - 6'1" 195 lbs

Millard North's [player_tooltip player_id='533092' first='Zion' last='Rush'] continues to rise up our board after a strong Stock Up performance to complement a solid junior season. Zion put his arm talent on full display as he ran through drills, routes on air, and 1v1s in an impressive manner. His arm strength has always been clear, he further showed that with some great deep passes that were right on the money and great timing. Rush showed that he can throw with anticipation on in-breaking routes and can lead the receiver with the ball. Good footwork on his drops with the ability to flip his hips fluidly. Things are trending WAY up for the Mustang's gunslinger!

[player_tooltip player_id='1085149' first='Ayron' last='Shaw'] (Twitter), 2027 - DL - Creighton Prep - 6'3" 245 lbs

Creighton Prep's [player_tooltip player_id='1085149' first='Ayron' last='Shaw'] showed us why we have been high on him since the end of his freshman season. Shaw displayed a fast and physical skillset that should see him develop into an absolute terror on the defensive line. He possesses size that projects well at 6'3" and 245 pounds, with good length and room to continue filling out his frame in the upcoming years. As I mentioned, Ayron's physicality really stood out yesterday as he did an excellent job using his hands to disengage from blocks and flashed a mean streak during 1v1s. He quickly fires off the ball with nice speed and bend when rushing off the edge. Great motor and twitch. I could see him playing with his hand in the dirt or as an EDGE rusher at the next level. Massive upside— get after him ASAP!

[player_tooltip player_id='1240556' first='Greyson' last='Beattie'] (Twitter), 2026 - OL - Waukee Northwest - 6'1" 250 lbs

Big-time stock riser! Waukee Northwest's [player_tooltip player_id='1240556' first='Greyson' last='Beattie'] put together an overall great performance that earned him the OL MVP of the showcase. As one of the coaches said, "he's not the biggest, but he's very technical," that proved to be true as he used excellent technique throughout drills and was lockdown in 1v1s with a 6-0 record. He's very quick on his feet, displaying great mobility and can reset himself when changing direction. Good bend at the hips with consistent pad level throughout his reps. Beattie does a great job using his strong base to anchor down when engaged with defenders and has the leg drive to force them out of the pocket/running lanes. Definitely will see a rise in attention this offseason!
