With the rankings being updated shortly for each class, we will take a look at a few of Washington's top athletes this season. These individuals can be expected to make a nice jump up the rankings board. Here we will analyze the Metro Mountain division with more updates from other conferences coming soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='693811' first='Beau' last='Oaksmith'] 25' 5-11 180 Seattle Prep

We've talked about the Metro League POY multiple times in recent months. Oaksmith is somewhat undersized for a QB but typically the best athlete on the field and a true dual threat. He helped Seattle Prep to a solid season with their only losses coming to the top teams in the state at 7-4.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582186' first='Jonah' last='Martin'] 25' 6-1 260 O'Dea

Martin had an unreal senior year earning conference lineman of the year honors while helping his team to the state title. His accolades were made even more impressive by all of the talent they have up front on both sides of the football.

[player_tooltip player_id='693842' first='Zaire' last='Griffin'] 25' 5-10 165 RB Roosevelt

Griffin put up some impressive numbers going for 1100 rushing/receiving yards and 10 TDs, while averaging 13.2 yards per carry and 32.3 yards a reception. He was a 1st team all league RB and a big reason they made it to the state semis.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582187' first='Maceo' last='Rivers'] 25' 6-2 190 CB Rainier Beach

Rivers is a phenomenal overall athlete (basketball) who earned 1st team all-league honors at CB his first year playing ball. From a projection standpoint the sky's the limit as he's still relatively raw.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582188' first='Mason' last='Mandell'] 25' 6-2 165 WR Blanchet

Even with the team finishing 3-7 the standout basketball player helped keep his team competitive in most ball games, earning 1st team all-league honors at WR in the process.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582191' first='Jaylyn' last='Keller'] 25' 6-0 180 CB Eastside Catholic

One of the most versatile kids in the state. The 1st team all-league Safety finished with 27 tackles, 1 INT, and 6 PBU's. He also took 2 punts to the house. He's a sleeper at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='693725' first='Alec' last='Greenwood'] 25' 5-10 160 WR/S Seattle Prep

Greenwood was one of the only athletes in the Metro to earn 1st team all-conference honors on both sides of the football. He won't be a big time recruit due to size but more than held his own all year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582193' first='Carson' last='Downs'] 25' 6-3 220 TE Eastside Catholic

One of the more underrated players in WA. The 6-3 tight end was clutch all season for Eastside, helping the Crusaders finish 10-2 while losing by 3 in the state title game to O'Dea.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582194' first='Jackson' last='Childs'] 25' 6-4 280 T O'Dea

Another standout on the offensive front for the state champs. Childs racked up 1st team all-Metro accolades and has the necessary size to play and do well at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582195' first='Peleki' last='Vuatalevu'] 25' 5-11 295 T/C Eastside Catholic

One of the stronger lineman in Washington. Vuatalevu doesn't have prototypical size for an O lineman but was just a tough matchup for most with his stature. He was definitely deserving of the 1st team all-conference honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='693821' first='Lake' last='Christensen'] 25' 6-0 210 LB Ballard

Just a super tough and physical kid. The 2x 1st team all-league LB has been the Metro's leader in tackles for the last two seasons, accumulating 258 in total. Look for him to be a small college standout at a high-end academic university.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582196' first='King' last='Allah'] 25' 6-2 230 LB O'Dea

Allah is a big dude who can move. His combination of size and speed were on display all season during their state title run as he garnered 1st team all-league honors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582197' first='Davian' last='Sherlock'] 25' 6-2 185 Safety O'Dea

Sherlock has great size and had a breakout season for the Irish. The standout Safety left no doubt earning 1st team all-conference accolades.

[player_tooltip player_id='1582198' first='Hans' last='Hoerschelmann'] 25' 5-10 165 WR Blanchet

Bishop Blanchet didn't have a winning season, but they did have one of the better WR combos in Washington with Hoerschelmann and [player_tooltip player_id='1582188' first='Mason' last='Mandell']. Both were 1st team all-conference receivers.
