Yes they're JV highlights, but you can already see the instincts and aggression that will go a long ways. I also got to see Antonio work in person at the Stock Up Showcase and his physical build and athletic ability definitely jumped out to me. This is a kid who can get sideline to sideline, takes good pursuit angles and seems to always be in the right place at the right time, which takes a lot more than luck. Sharpening these skills against varsity talent will take him to a next level next season I believe. He has great change of direction and vision that serves him incredibly well in the return game. He has great quickness to hit the open field with a full head of steam and can weave his way in and out of defenders with ease. I also liked what I saw from him at receiver. His footwork has dramatically improved, his arm strength is good and I liked what I saw from his accuracy. His film showed examples where he was able to escape the pocket and hurt the defense with his legs if they don't respect it. There were some big time throws where the ball was dropped in a bucket for the receiver. He throws a catchable ball in short and intermediate throws and I like his timing. He isn't incredibly explosive, but his first step is decent and he overwhelms offensive tackles with his power. He has a nice in and out pass rush move that gets linemen off balance, and his punch and bend are good. I have no worry about his motor or pursuit, as it appeared he had the stamina and will to chase that you love to see from a EDGE/DE. I had a D3 grade on him as I was watching, and when I checked for offers I saw he had some D3 offers, so they definitely see what I see. His film stuck out as one of my favorites so far just because of the possibilities every time he touches the ball. He has the speed and explosiveness to always make the big play. Is he a bit undersized? Probably to some, but you can't argue results. He's quick, twitchy, great balance and solid vision.
