It tends to be a common theme when talking about Florida prospects, but [player_tooltip player_id='1571654' first='Trent' last='Scott'] has the special kind of quickness and agility that you can't find everywhere

Listed at 5-foot-8 and 140-pounds as of December 2024 during his eighth-grade year, he's on the more slender sider--but defenses can't hit, what they can't catch

Most of the time getting the designation of Athlete means a prospect is good on both sides of the ball or their current size/long term position could be in question. In the case of Scott, he can literally play Wide Receiver (Slot), Running Back, Defensive Back and Outside Linebacker at a very high level right now. If I had to predict right now based off size and skill, I'd say he ends up in the slot due to his hands and make-ya-miss shiftiness. The kid is a difference maker.

As of August this year I thought of [player_tooltip player_id='1398010' first='Michael' last='Ceville-Rogers'] as a big play Wide Receiver with the potential to tun into a future four our five star prospect down the line

Fast forward to December 2024 and eighth-grader Ceville-Rogers has emerged as one of the top Edge defenders not only in Florida, but the entire country for the class of 2029

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Ceville-Rogers is fresh off an AYFL 13U championship season with the Boynton Beach Bulldogs and capped it off with a Defensive MVP award. With his frame, athleticism and no-sign of his growth slowing down, I stamped the talented prospect with the "Athlete" tag. As he continues to progress into higher levels of football and continues to mature physically, I see no reason to eliminate the possibility of him becoming an elite Tight End in the future. There is so much talent in the So. Florida prospect, I don't see a ceiling on his potential.

Peart's film has a ton of plays where he's using his long legs to stride past defenders (or into them on defense) that are clearly a step slower than him. He lists himself as a Quarterback and Safety, but I opted to list him as an Athlete/Defensive Back at this point, with the lone reason being that I haven't seen enough of his right arm on display. He has enough talent to translate to a number of different positions

Located about 40 minutes North of Orlando, Aaeden Baldwin of the Tri-City Bulls is a prime example of why this middle school level is so difficult to pinpoint--he looks a lot different on film this year, as oppose to last year

In no way am I saying he had bad size last year, but if you compare his film from 365 days ago to now, he's added some serious muscle to his frame. He now lists himself at 6-foot and 170-pounds as of December 2024, his eighth-grade year.

Long term he does strike me as a Wide Receiver, but there's enough evidence to think about him possibly playing Running Back, Linebacker, Cornerback or Safety in the future. He's no stranger to taking direct snaps out of the backfield, making big hits and blocks, or creating in space with the ball in his hands. Baldwin looks like a player on the rise to know.

While the other four Athletes in this writeup are more of the speed/skill position type, truth be told---I don't know what the future holds for [player_tooltip player_id='1572351' first='Drayden' last='Flowers'], but the kid is a football player

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 225-pounds as of December 2024, his eighth-grade year, Flowers gets the Athlete designation because of how many ways he already has--and will continue--to impact the game in all three phases

While he primarily played Running Back, he also kicked, held extra points, played Linebacker and proved to be one heck of a blocker. Located just an hour from Tallahassee, Flowers was "the man" during his eighth-grade year His 2024 stat line paints a nice picture. Played in only 16 quarters:

Passing: 2/2 54 yards w/ 1 touchdown
Receiving: 2 receptions for 62 yards w/ 1 touchdown
Rushing: 32 attempts for 660 yards w/11 touchdowns. Averaged 26 yards per carry.
