December Edition: 2028 New Additions

With each update that Prep Redzone Arkansas does we add plenty of new additions to keep an eye out for on the field. During the 2024 season, numerous prospects saw playing time on Friday nights across the state. Here are several new additions to watch out for over the next few seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1449608' first='JJ' last='Johnson']-Running Back-Lake Hamilton-5'7” 135-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lake Hamilton running back does a great job of displaying patience and waiting for a rushing lane to clear. Johnson explodes through the rushing lanes and gets into the second level quickly. He has the ability to make opposing defenders miss tackles. Johnson has the talent to carry the ball between the tackles or cut the run down the sideline. He is a running back to watch out for with the Wolves over the next couple of seasons.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1402983' first='Hayden' last='Harshaw']-Offensive Line-Sylvan Hills-6'0” 245-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1402983' first='Hayden' last='Harshaw'] is an offensive lineman for Sylvan Hills that has the versatility to play any of the positions along the offensive front. Harshaw explodes out of the stance and gets into opposing defensive linemen. He uses his hands well to drive opposing defenders backward. Harshaw has the speed to get out front on draws and screen passes. He is an offensive lineman to watch out for with Sylvan Hills.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1557599' first='Carter' last='Sutterfield']-Offensive Line-Cave City-6'4” 280-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The offensive line positions in the class of 2028 appear to be in great hands. Cave City offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1557599' first='Carter' last='Sutterfield'] is a powerhouse. He can rack up the pancakes in quick fashion during a game. Sutterfield opens up rushing lanes quickly. He finishes one block and then promptly looks for another player to block at the second level. Sutterfield has the mix of power and speed to cause plenty of problems for opposing defensive linemen. He is a player to watch out for with Cave City over the next few years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1524378' first='Kelbe' last='Stackhouse']-Offensive Line-West Memphis-6'1” 335-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During the 2024 football season, [player_tooltip player_id='1524378' first='Kelbe' last='Stackhouse'] became a mainstay on the offensive line for West Memphis. Stackhouse is an explosive offensive lineman out of the snap. He uses his hands well and can drive opposing defensive linemen backward. Stackhouse does a great job in opening up rushing lanes for West Memphis running backs. He is a player to watch out for on the offensive line for the Blue Devils.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1542398' first='Ty' last='Tanksley']-Quarterback-Carlisle-6'0” 175-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Carlisle quarterback had an impressive 2024 season. Tanksley throws the football with accuracy. He has the ability to throw his wide receivers open. Tanksley reads the opposing secondary well and will take the deep shot down the field to keep opposing defensive backs honest. Meanwhile, he has the mobility to use his legs to extend the play. Tanksley is a signal caller to watch out for over the next couple of seasons for Carlisle.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
