The 28th Annual Baltimore Touchdown Club (BTC) All-Star Classic will occur on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024, at Guilford Park High Stadium in Maryland. The game will feature a matchup between the Baltimore All-Stars and the Metro All-Stars.

As high school football players look to make their mark before heading to the next level, the BTC Classic provides a stage for senior quarterbacks to shine in front of college scouts.

PRZ Maryland quickly looks at the senior wide receivers playing for Team Baltimore in the event. All of these players are still looking for a college home.

ANTONIO LAMBIRTH | DUNDALK | 6-1 | 170

Lambirth caught 38 passes for 601 yards and four touchdowns this season, averaging 15.8 yards per catch. He had three games of 100-plus yards receiving during his senior year. Has the length and skill set to win fades and back-shoulder throws, as shown on at least three of the first several plays on his highlights. Love his ability to climb a ladder and grab the football out of the air at its high point. Can continue to work on getting a little more burst off the line of scrimmage. A strider who has decent vertical build-up that enables him to run past defenders, especially against zone coverage.

ANTHONY SMITH | DUNDALK | 6-0 | 175

Smith caught 34 passes for 467 yards (13.7 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns in 11 games during his senior year. He's an effective and fluid route runner. He can continue to work on his early acceleration. Smith has enough speed to challenge downfield against single coverage. Versatile enough to elude tacklers on jet sweeps, he can make people miss in space. Toughness isn't an issue at all; Smith is also a solid defensive player.

CORDAY BETHEL | MOUNT SAINT JOSEPH | 5-8 | 165

Bethel caught 26 passes for 540 yards (20.8 yards per catch) and five touchdowns during the 2024 season. His best game came in a 34-14 win against St. Mary's on Oct. 25. In that game, he caught four passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns. One thing is for sure: the kid has some speed in his game. His explosiveness off the line of scrimmage stands out to me. Bethel maintains his speed through breaks and cuts, keeping defensive backs on his heels. Consistently creates separation and makes plays downfield. Perfect for the slot position.

DARRYL GILES JR. | KENWOOD | 6-3 | 193

Giles finished his senior year with 28 catches for 672 yards and eight touchdowns. A game like this will benefit Giles since his team could only win one game this season. His size and ability to accelerate with his long strides made him a mismatch for defensive backs. Giles could be a diamond in the rough. With his hands and athletic ability, he's winning most of the 50/50 balls thrown his way. I'm impressed that he's a versatile receiver who can play both the outside and slot positions. Giles runs a few different routes on his highlights, too, showing that he's not just a 9-cut guy.

DAVID MATTHEWS | LANSDOWNE | 6-0 | 180

Despite his school having a rough season, Matthews was able to catch 47 passes for 729 yards and seven touchdowns. He does a good job of finding the soft spot in zones and adjusting his routes based on coverage. Matthews can continue to get more of an initial burst off the line of scrimmage. He is another player who can benefit from one more chance to showcase his ability to college coaches.
