Boom 7v7 Tryouts: 2026 Eye Catchers

Great size, technique and footwork. Displayed his great field vision, decision making and quick release in tryouts after having a breakout junior season. D1 prospect who should excel this spring in 7v7.   [player_tooltip player_id='1130311' first='Sam' last='Deen'], QB Vianney - 6'1" 175 who is a big time athlete along with being a talented quarterback prospect. Plays with a sense of urgency and makes quick decisions, then fires the ball with good velocity and accuracy. Had a good day putting the ball on the money with his usual accuracy. Impressive touch on his throws and especially his deep passes. Showed his is well trained with good technique which accounts for his play.   [player_tooltip player_id='1219811' first='Jack' last='Hessler'], TE Lindbergh - 6'5" 221 big athlete who runs well and shows excellent speed. Had a big day showcasing his athleticism, route running ability, ability to get separation from defenders and ball skills. Great hands and laid out for the ball on several occasions. Played full speed and really gave it his all during the tryout. Competed for every pass and made catches in tight windows.   [player_tooltip player_id='369030' first='Riley' last='Holstein'], WR/S Timberland - 6'1" 200 versatile athlete who got the most reps of any player at the tryouts due to his willingness to rep at receiver, safety, corner and linebacker. He was impressive in showcasing his skills set at each position and made play after play. Good size, strength, speed and power. Showed good cover skills and balls skills. Riley is physical and has the potential to play S/Nickel or linebacker on the next level making himself a valuable prospect.   Don Thornton, WR Francis Howell Central - 6'0" 165 super quick receiver prospect who has great burst and quickness his uses to get open from defenders. Don had good speed and runs nice routes showing his versatility and playmaking ability as a receiver. He had big day making plays against some quality defensive backs at the tryouts. Showed impressive hands and ability to catch balls on the move and in tight coverge.
