He has good length, closing speed and is very fluid in space and can cover a ton of ground when in the open field and no doubt fits the mold of a new aged linebacker that can cover and make plays from sideline to sideline. He shows he can weave through traffic into the backfield, is a sure tackler behind the line of scrimmage and quickly recognizes plays while able to provide a pass rush as well. He is extremely powerful at the POA, explosive off the ball and shows good twitch and use of hands at the point of attack with closing speed and bend around the edge. He shows a violent initial strike on tackles, uses his length to keep blockers away from his chest and flashes tremendous closing speed and backside pursuit when chasing ball carriers from the backside. He flows well to the ball, shows good lateral movement abilities to weave through traffic and can get into the backfield using bend, a strong shock to get off blocks or filling through contact with ease. He is a high IQ player with quick play recognition when sniffing out screens/draws, and shows the ability to quickly redirect and closes quickly both behind the LOS and downfield. Fotofili is a high motor kid that shows excellent backside pursuit to the ball and also can provide a pass rush when applying pressure either up the middle or off the edge. From the middle, he can apply pressure quickly, blow up blockers in pass protection and plays fast at all times in the box.
