The freshman class showed up in some nice numbers. There are a few guys out there who we were not familiar with before Sunday. We think they are going to have a great chance at being some prospects who are recruited for the college level. Let's check it out.

Kaelan Yeager

Yeager is a 2028 prospect who we have been keeping up with for a long time this season. He is from Lake Cormorant. Yeager was able to show that he has good hands out of the backfield. We do not have any official times yet, but we saw him go out there and move around well. We are thinking that he is going to be a guy who is going to play slot receiver on the next level. He is one we will definitely be keeping up with as his recruiting process goes on. Next season, he should be at running back a lot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1421312' first='Kentrell' last='Haynes']

Haynes is a receiver from Louisville who has some really soft hands. Yesterday, we were able to see a few things that he needs to work on. Haynes needs to be a little more crisp in and out of his breaks. We were able to see that he can go up for the football and we were also able to see him make some nice catches. The better he comes at route running, the better he is going to be. We have seen him play in live action. This kid is a dog.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581420' first='Reginald' last='Harper Jr.']

Harper was out there battling amongst some more older guys yesterday. Harper was able to show that he is going to be a prospect to keep up with. We were impressed with the way he was able to move. We think that Harper needs to learn how to go ahead and bring it to the defensive linemen during 1v1s. Sometimes, he can get caught up in being too perfect in his kick step.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581405' first='Bryson' last='Barnes']

Barnes came out and showed us that he is a guy in the freshman class to keep up with. The stud from Hattiesburg can move and catch the football with his hands. He is quick and knows how to get open at the running back position. We were also able to see that he can pick up more speed as he moves. We have not seen him in live action yet. Yesterday, we were just able to see that he is a guy to know.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581412' first='Jett' last='Lewis']

Lewis is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound running back from Kirk Academy who showed up. This young man knows how to move around on the football field. He also has some nice size. This is definitely a guy who we are going to be keeping up with this season. We noticed he also has some smooth strides when he steps out on the field.

Dontavous White

White is a wide receiver from Marion, Arkansas who was impressive yesterday. He is a nice route runner who is only going to get better. We did not see his times, but we know he is a guy who moves around well on the field. He also has soft hands. This is a guy to keep up with.

[player_tooltip player_id='1581235' first='Dmarion' last='White']

White is another player from Gilmore in Marion, Arkansas who showed up yesterday. This is a guy who is going to ball when he gets the chance. He also showed some good hands catching the ball yesterday. You can also see that he has an understanding for running routes. Be sure to keep up with him.
