2027 Rankings Update: Running Backs Breakdown

We have officially released a new set of rankings for the class of 2027 in Arkansas. In this article, we will showcase the 2027 running backs with analysis. Over the next few weeks, I will break down these rankings by position in each class, including other segments. He demonstrates good athleticism, characterized by good acceleration, foot quickness, contact balance, explosion, lateral agility, and change of direction (COD).   Dent showcases good post-snap vision, allowing him to read first-level and second-level defenders quickly. This skill enables him to identify his running lane on both Inside and Outside Zone runs, showing good mental processing and patience as he follows his lead blocker on inside gap runs. He also possesses second-level breakaway speed. Noble has good change of direction and vision, enabling him to quickly locate cutback lanes and get upfield. He maintains good balance to withstand contact, utilizing active feet, strong leg drive, and lower body power to break tackles and gain extra yards. Additionally, he is a threat in the receiving game, whether he is coming out of the backfield or lined up wide. Noble is a smooth route runner who can create separation off his breaks, due to his agility, footwork, and burst. Walker showcases a quick first step, allowing him to burst through tackles, and he demonstrates good vision when identifying running lanes. He exhibits patience behind the line of scrimmage as he follows his blockers. Additionally, he is versatile, capable of being a dominant and hard-to-stop running back in the receiving game.
