2026 Running Back Follow Up

He was a beast this whole season. Tupelo was able to get him in some good situations. This was one of the best players in the whole state this season. He was a player who we saw rush for over 2000 yards. There was no stopping him this season. He is a big load to carry.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1335720' first='Damarius' last='Yates']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Yates is one of those players who we saw attack the game with a lot of speed. He is one of the best running backs in the nation for his class. We were able to see his coaches get him the football a lot of times out of the backfield. Those were the times we were able to see him kick up the speed pretty fast.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='691314' first='Marcus' last='Flowers Jr']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Flowers is one of the best players in the state. He is one of those guys who automatically goes off the more and more that his coaches put the football in his hands. Flowers is one of those backs who has strength and good speed. He also has good vision. He is a tough runner who always makes things happen for his team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1019185' first='Jordan' last='Stapleton']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Stapleton is one of those backs who knows how to stay low and use his strength. This is a guy from West Harrison who also has good speed. He is a patient runner who knows how to find the right lane to break loose. His coaches are always giving us a good chance to see him move the football.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
