2026 Prospects Ready for 2025

Pope sheds blocks well and quickly gets to the opposing ball carrier. He has the speed to get sideline to sideline to bring down the ball carrier. Meanwhile, he can drop back into pass coverage and disrupt the passing game. Pope is a prospect that I expect to have a big season for the Zebras in 2025. He is versatile enough to play multiple positions on the field and causes plenty of headaches for opposing offensive coordinators in the process.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='893510' first='Keagan' last='Sanderson']-Edge Rusher-Salem-5'9” 205-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='893510' first='Keagan' last='Sanderson'] exploded from a production standpoint this season. He comes off of the edge quickly and brings down the opposing quarterback. Sanderson defeats blocks and can rush the passer or help stop the rushing attack. During the 2024 regular season, Sanderson brought down the opposing quarterbacks 15 times for sacks. Sanderson has set the stage for a big 2025 season and is a player to watch out for next season</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1010800' first='Jeff' last='Regan']-Quarterback-Rogers-5'9” 160-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1010800' first='Jeff' last='Regan'] is a dynamic prospect at the quarterback position for the Mounties. However, he has the versatility to play multiple positions on the field. Regan throws the football with accuracy. He has the accuracy to fit the football into some tight windows. Meanwhile, he has the athleticism to extend the play and pick up yards on the ground. During the 2024 season, Regan threw for 2,312 yards and 27 touchdowns. He tacked on 1,689 yards and 28 touchdowns on the ground. He can carry the ball between the tackles or cut the run down the sideline. Coughran is a versatile player that made big plays in the passing game for Prairie Grove during the 2024 season. He is a player to watch out for in 2025. Coughran has the ability to produce big numbers next season for the Tigers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='204462' first='Dax' last='McMellon']-Quarterback-Sheridan-6'4” 205-Pounds</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='204462' first='Dax' last='McMellon'] opened plenty of eyes during the 2024 season. He has the arm strength to keep opposing secondaries honest. McMellon is not afraid to test the secondary with a vertical deep throw. He can pick opposing defenses apart with his decision-making and accuracy. During the 2024 season, McMellon was 273 of 454 for 3,635 yards and 35 touchdowns. He is a player to watch out for as preparations begin for the 2025 season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
