2026 Defensive Prospects Who Moved Up In Rankings

They are real ballers who are going to be out there doing their thing next season. It was hard for offensive lineman to keep him out of the backfields. Wilson also saw a lot of schools going ahead and extending him some offers. He has a lot of power four opportunities to play on the next level. Wilson is a dog from Picayune is going to be able to do a lot of good things this offseason.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1577336' first='Jakobe' last='Barnes']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We were able to get our eyes on Barnes at our combine in Jackson, Mississippi two weeks ago. He is a real beast who knows how to get out there and cover. This is a guy from JDC who we are going to make sure we keep our eyes on this offseason. We really like the way that he was moving around on the football field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1351501' first='Shane' last='Farmer']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Farmer is a player from Calhoun City who we feel like you guys need to go ahead and get familiar with. This is one of those guys who does not mind coming up to make tackles. We have also seen him be a help on offense for his team. He is the kind of prospect who is always looking to make a play. You are going to want to keep up with him this offseason. We had to be sure to get him up through the rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1581415' first='Julius' last='Harper']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Harper is a player we have been bragging about since he showed up to our combine two weeks ago in Jackson, Mississippi. This dude is truly a guy to know for this class. The young man has blazing speed and quickness. We think he is one of those guys who deserves to be talked about a lot more than what he is already receiving. He is one of the guys we really think is going to see his stock rise this offseason.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1581424' first='Ty' last='Edwards']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is no way we were going to leave him where he was in the rankings. He is one of the guys we feel like is going to have a good offseason. Edwards is a baseball player, so we know that he may be out there with baseball a lot this offseason. We think there is a good chance that he is going to see his stock rise.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1581406' first='Byron' last='Pruitt']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Pruitt is one of those guys who has a lot of good moves about himself. You can trust him out there against a receiver. Pruitt is going to make sure that he gives a defensive coach a good chance to handle his business. We were able to see him in person a few weeks ago at the PRZ Combine in Jackson. Pruitt also has some good hips. This is a guy to know.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
