He plays with violent hands, good bend for his size and creates immediate knock-back in the run game while also having a variety of power and speed rush moves at his disposal coming off the edge or when kicking inside. The 3-star prospect is a high IQ kid that read blocks quickly, shows strong backside pursuit and is a high motor guy that is always around the ball. He does a nice job at using his length at the POA and is a heavy striker that does a good job at using his leverage to his advantage, especially for his size. He is solid against the run, can take on double teams/drive blocks well and should find success in the MWC over his college career. He is a very technically sound player with a strong build and powerful lower body while a true anchor at the point of attack and does a nice job at using his height to his advantage to get underneath blockers and win with a low hat. He also shows an explosive first step to cover vertical ground, quickly sets his hands with inside placement and has an immediate<br>lockout while keeping blockers away from his chest before violently shedding. He shows good block recognition, can split double teams/reach blocks and has redirect abilities down the line of scrimmage. Although a bit undersized for the position, he has a strong frame and does a nice job at using his length and power against bigger blockers and wins with leverage and initial knock-back at the POA. Out of his stance, he is a powerful striker that has a good punch and leg drive through contact when resetting the line of scrimmage. Nail also shows he can make plays consistently behind the line and provides some sneaky speed and twitch inside and shows he can play anywhere along the defensive front in college. He is a still raw and developing edge rusher, but has good initial explosion, covers a ton of ground quickly when collapsing the pocket and wins with speed and bend around the edge. Anderson is a high motor kid that can get underneath blockers and shows counter move abilities while a very sure tackler in the backfield and brings strong hand violence at the POA.
